ETH to 800$ in JAN 2019? (after fork speculations)

I have the same opinion if Ethereum from the end of December 2018 to the beginning of January 2019 has a very positive move and continues to increase. I don't think its value will increase as high as you think. $ 800 is when our market has a market capitalization of over $ 1,000 billion. ETH is going to have a big event but it doesn't mean that the price of ETH will increase many times. The upcoming event will reduce the price of ETH to balance the value of the new altcoin.

Ether can become so expensive only if the cryptocurrency market turns around and goes up. I do not think that fork will be the cause of strong growth.

It should be targeting to reach 500$ first and then we can look to see it above 1k. Though it may take some time as currently it is around 156$ itself. So will take atleast next 2-4 months easily even if bull run continues for some time.

Now ETH has shown that this hardfork plan is indeed making pumping prices. But I'm not too sure ETH will make the price higher or just stay with the current price or will dump again after hardfork is done because I see BTC prices don't support.

If we are in the bullish trend then its possible that ETH might hit around $800 but since the bear is still in total control, I agree with your conservative estimates of $200 which is doable. It already breach $150, might be encountering resistance though but it's possible as we inch closer to the schedule's fork date.

guys, it seems to me that you need to take into account the situation with hardfork ethereum, which is not official. According to the developers ethereum Classic Vision A completely different product. Based on this, it is very difficult to say how this situation will affect the ethereum. Although updating Constantinople will make the situation much more profitable.

Assuming Bitcoin price did not change, ETH at $800 will be number 1 Crypto currency with over $83 Billion marketcap. I think it is too much for Ether in Jan, but it can increase gradually this year.

Analysts are bullish on the ETH nearest future, it's doing quite well in terms of the market capitalization. In general, I expect the current rise to continue, but I don't see 800$ mark plausible in January or in Q1. Cryptos do not show this dramatic type of rise currently

If you really believe it will be 800 dollars, pay close attention when investing, I think it is impossible to raise prices. Forks can rise up to $ 300 just before the forks, but I don't think it will even happen. These forks will not succeed

I do not really know if such a high price can be reached so quickly if at all, my conservative side tells me that a price between 250 and 300 is more likely and if we are lucky we could see a price of 500 for each ethereum for some time but such a high price for ethereum will be almost impossible to reach unless bitcoin goes up in price as well and makes all the market to go up, something very unlikely to say the least.

Cross fingers dude. A lot of eth were taken by hackers during the cryptopia hack and the price of eth now stands around 125usd the last time i checked. You're delusional if you think it would even go beyond 500 usd this january.

   I`m Ethereum holder and big fun. I believe in Ethereum in long-run. I think Constantinople hard fork will bring some good changes for Ethereum.
I`m optimistic about Ethereum, if this fork pass without problems later price will rise for sure.
   Like others I`m following situation and I believe in great future for all Ethereum users.
