The riddle from the last update has been solved and the Zano claimed. Congratulations to whoever figured it out! For anyone wondering, the answer was "anti-vodka".
@mreichardt This is awesome, it seems to be coming together fast! Looking forward to the next update and to trying it out.
Happy new year all! I think 2021's going to be an important one for Zano.

For anyone who hasn't been paying attention to the github commits, it looks like the next big feature being worked on is... Atomic Swaps[graphic borrowed and doctored from coinscapture.com]It's perfect timing with so many of the centralized exchanges playing it safe and delisting privacy-preserving currencies. This will allow for Zano to be integrated into AtomicDEX for one. Anyone know of any other DEX that's powered by atomic swaps?

Check out the latest Zano News publication summarizing our Discord Serious Series discussion: https://link.medium.com/VjtFvuvzJdbWe were lucky enough to have two exchange owners in the chat to give their perspectives - really interesting stuff. The next discussion will take place soon. Will drop the subject, time and date here when confirmed.

Or........ it gets atomic swaps and reach out to hundreds of DEX, you stay in control of your coins and you don't have to disclose your identity for nothing!

how to send zano with payment id ?
There's no option to send with payment ID in the GUI wallet, it supports Integrated addresses which are an amalgamation of address and payment ID and are a bit more user friendly. Are you sending to an exchange?

Zano "Serious Series" Discussion #2 is now open on Discord! The topic: DeFiSome of the questions up for discussion:- Is having a centralized custodian ok? - How is that wallet audited? Should it be staking? - How can we make sure that privacy is retained or at least maximized in the wrap/unwrap process? - Should we also look into other wrapped options such as Polkadot or others? - Should we also do a LP token? How can we give incentives for people to bring liquidity? - Who are we targeting with that DeFi adoption? The discussion will be open for the next 2 weeks or so to give everyone a chance to participate. Have your say: http://chat.zano.org

Hi guys. Trying to mine with an 290x amd card with 4gb of vram, giving an error with progminer;
"unrecognized platform intel(r) OpenCL error no usable mining device found"
Can a 290x mine this coin? Am I missing some crucial files or is the gpu unsupported?
Anyone knows about this?

I think the card itself should be fine for mining. At least the VRAM is not an issue, I mine Zano with cards as low as 2 GB. But something is wrong if the miner is picking up an Intel device. If you have both Intel and AMD OpenCL drivers installed, you might need the --cl-devices option with the correct device number. Try --list-devices to find those numbers.
