HashFever is getting a lot of DDOS Can someone recommend a good pool that is in the right fork and that doesn't have much attention from the DDOSers ? http://xhash.netvery stable, no downtime or dc's and on right chain! Having much better time right now on https://bltz.crunchharder.net. Was fine on hashfever until about 45 minutes ago. Did crunchharder most of yesterday, it went without problems. Just bear in mind it's a smaller pool. Great interface, payouts work as they're supposed to, right fork. Alternatively, dwarf is always a solid pool. That's my next fallback if any problems arise.

If you prefer one p2pnetwork than removing the source is not the solution
The solution is to move back to the old network prefix since this is used by almost all p2pnodes available
just my 2 cents
E: the source of omarg uses the old network prefix ...
P2Pool guys need to stick together. Just one P2Pool network. I'll remove the code form OP to prevent new P2Pools use it. If you can tell me where is a code most P2Pools are using, I'll publish in OP new code and delist pools using different code.

not mandatory. new one will contain checkpoints so it will not be able to sync with forked one.

if i have to move back fine.... but it will cost me decreased shares for 24-48 hours... which is close to half the remaining time to mine this coin...... crappy, but oh well, I may move to a regular pool then.
Looking at the blocks in block explorer... I should have searched for blocks in first place instead of wallet addresses, but anyways.... it seems to be much better since 10:05:13 GMT today, but really bad before that...
There must have been one of the bigger nodes that was on wrong fork, or a bunch of them..... I haven't seen any of the discussion between the P2P operators, but I sort of agree with OmarG's original idea of PM'ing him for updated code.
Given all the syncing issues I am reading about.... I think its a good idea to verify that the pool operators are on proper fork before giving them the code to start a node. What do you guys think?
just as a reference, I verified all the blocks that were not paid out on the original P2P, marked as bad. turns out to be quite a lot.
Does this timeline line up with when the p2p pools figured out the issue ?

+1 I've no clue why some people are still mining this fraud/scam/shit coin at all We are attempting to prove a concept. Reality has nothing to do with it. Have you no respect for science, my friend? When you look into DIEM for example, it had a similar concept and its working fine.. Without forks.. Mining is over now but now you can trade it.. The dev had a clue about it, the pools worked well.. This coin is like driving a 30 year old car, you have to fix it every second day.. this coin even more often It's a pure waste of energy, mine a decent x11 coin and you'll quadruple your earnings.
