OPS, you need a relaunch!
I don't need relaunch. Pool ops had a simple task. to provide IP. they didn't.

I don't need relaunch. Pool ops had a simple task. to provide IP. they didn't.

It's not for pool operators to provide free bandwidth for you. Nor should any pool operator who cares about security for their users be opening their firewalls to their wallet servers - even if there are no known exploits for blockchain sync connections at present, I would consider that an unnecessary increase of the attack surface, and wouldn't expose users at https://bltz.crunchharder.net to an unnecessary risk.

What should happen is seed nodes in the source code, and seed nodes provided by _you_ running at launch, all it takes is a few cheap VPSs.

I mean, good on you for releasing a working wallet that compiles and works fine etc. which is more than a lot of launches, however more nodes should have been provided - it's not the pools responsibility to do that.

Surprising coins still having forked coin launches, esp with so much IPO support.

Checkout Planetdollar: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=524080.0 flawless launch, but needs some more support Smiley

Absolutely. Why should a pool allow all traffic access their to their Daemon?

http://p2pools.cryptoprojects.eu:9333/static/

cgminer command line

Benefits of p2pool

0.75% Mandatory Donation fee to a Good Cause, 0.75% Pool Fees, 0% AP TX Fees

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.75% Donation fee.  This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month.  Though we only require a minimum 0.75% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

Cheers!
