Coins that are good now: anything that a multipool could be developed for. Coins to avoid, anything new that is pure POW. I think mintcoin would be  an amazing multipool candidate even though I would prefer a coin with more scarcity, but not ultra rare. Ghostcoin has the perfect balance but thats a few weeks/months out until it sees some action.

ok.. sanity check didn't went well last night.
I drived last night 150km  to the experienced win dev a ex co-worker of mine, and 150km back, came back like 1AM.. BlitzCoin is to hot to be sent to unknown person over the internet to compile a windows wallet before launch, so I believe you understand why I wanted to keep it "inside house". All that to find out after I came home that BlitzCoin have no hard cap on max coins. It's a known issue, I believe everyone remember it form dogecoin..
As I say, better be safe than sorry so I decided to get some sleep to clear my mind and to be fresh before I review the code again.

Now everything is ready. Source checked, windows wallet ready.. For Mac wallet bounty will be allocated and will be released in 24h from BltzCoin launch.
Synch checked and working flawlessly, literally everything is ready and will be sending P2Pool parameters to OmarG later on.

During the day, I'll contact pool operators to provide me IP addresses for config file. It will reduce amount of orphaned blocks at the beginning.

action plan:
5PM GMT I'll release windows wallet in password protected .zip file
6PM GMT I'll release source code on Github
6:15PM GMT I'll release password for win wallet.

source will be released 15 minutes prior the win wallet to allow pools some time to compile wallet. I believe 15 min is enough for pools to do it. As well, I noticed in other coin launches usually less experienced users with windows wallets starts to solo mine before wallet is fully synced and at that point is general panic and lots of forks..
I'll do check pointing to prevent it as well.

LAUNCH TODAY 26.03.2014 6PM GMT
Everything is ready for smooth launch.

if OmarG will not provide P2Pool code Sy is a backup.
and in worst case scenario, I'll publish the P2Pool code myself and remove the bounty from IPO Hybrid.

everyone had a fair chance to get some BLTZ IPO Hybrid. No payment was needed, just a bit of contribution.
We have large selection of fine pools. So even small miners will get the chance to get some BLTZ for themselves.
Solo mining usually mean unfair distribution of the coin, and this way there will be no major BLTZ holder unless he will buy it at exchange. It's about fair distribution..

Small miner soloing with kgw isn't really a good idea imho. Better to join the first pool that gets online.

I think the owner did not receive enough BTC and will go on to cheat more. Once it's enough, time to go just like many other scamers. Is there anyone who still want to wait utill it's gone......

You think he'll come back with an excuse about what happened and then buy time to see if he can get more investors?

investors are here just to be fair to non-miners and to the people that didn't have desired skills. If you check the IPO payment address you will see there is just a few transactions, quite symbolic as well. I actually believe transactions ware made form people to support the dev rather than to get rich quick.
It's healthy this way, I even set a maximum for IPO payment.

I will mine BLTZ myself and from mining I'll get my BLTZ, I have even rented some rigs last night for this week Smiley . You can see I'm nowhere to find in IPO Hybrid - It's all for people contributed to the BLTZ.

The OP had (.5 BTC) for the bounty written next to each pools name until you edited. That would explain my 'confusion.'

it's still there. just in IPO Hybrid status section.
The IPO Hybrid is calculated in BTC as universal unit. And bounty is calculated towards IPO Hybrid. It's a fair distribution of the premine, rather than have some unallocated BLTZ in my wallet. Like this 100% of premined amount will be distributed to the contributors.
