The hottest 2019 coin is unlikely to be in the top 50 at the moment. Look for projects that have not yet gained wide acceptance - it is damn difficult, you will have to skip tons of information through yourself and make the right choice.

I'm a big fan of Spectrecoin, THE most anonymous coin out there. Did you guys know that this coin even has Anonymous Proof of Stake, so that nobody knows you're staking?
I think this coin could really moon if all the great features get around.

Well, I would choose Bitcoin along with Ethereum, to me it feels these are the safest 'investments'.
If you want to look into more unknown projects, but with a highly experienced and very knowlegdeable team I would suggest Unibright. Has a great tokenmodel and usecases ready to go. just my 2cents.

We all knew that there's no certain time or day that our altcoins will be shining through, due to it was all having dumped price ever. Only btc has been bullish but not with the altcoins, but if you prefer to find those promising and could sustain for a long time I would rather choose eth, bnb, ripple and more who has been spiked last 2017. You can never concentrate your capital in one coin.  At least 10 different coins should be in your portfolio.  This is the smallest minimum that an investor should have.  Even a careful analysis of all projects may not warn you about the danger, but somehow investing in a large number of projects will reduce the risk of loss, at least by 60 - 70%.

I can still remember this as most of the coins in that time are really profitable and when the big test happens, you can see it dropped 10 times more, and the volume is also getting lower and lower.

If I were you, I would rather invest in solid and tested coins. Why look for other new coins that are not yet even tested? That is so risky. new coins are dying one after another. The solid ones will not let you down. Well, there might be times when you really have to be patient because even Bitcoin has rise and fall rounds, bear and bull seasons. But the sure thing is that they will rise back. Need I tell you to start with BTC, ETH, and the rest?
