In my opinion, Ethereum, XrP and EOS and by far the best coins to invest in 2019. They remain dominant in their position and I doubt that they will suffer this year as much as last year. When we start a recovery, those coins will gradually increase, might not hit its previous highs this year but prepare for 2020, because I see that the real bull run will happen on that year. The two characteristic you want out from a coin to invest are contradictory, a coin that is hot and it is moving in the ranks is most of the time not a sound investment, it is a coin with a lot of hype surrounding it and nothing more, and the coins which are a sound investment are most likely already at the top of the market and while they can go up in price the profits that you could get are nowhere near what you could get with coins with a lower market cap, so before you invest you need to decide in which type of coin you would like to invest.

In case this may be a multiyear bear market, it can be a gamble when buying a coin, which may result in you holding bags for many years or worse it may force you to sell at a loss.  This is why I  strongly only recommend buying coins / tokens that pay the investors in dividends.  This way even if you hold a coin for years, you'll still regularly paid from a share of the company's profits.  This why I recommend investing in EVOAI.

Go for the bigger coins to be safer, but absolutely everything is at a fraction of its ATH at the moment, so take your pick. Ethereum dropped again this time, and it's really thought. Ethereum and ripple still compete for each other to get the second position. This will be hot in the market. Now, both ethereum and ripple were down again because of bitcoin price is down. I wonder what will happen when the ethereum hardfork is launch, can ethereum turn back the position or still at the third place in the CMC. Besides that, Bitcoin Cash needs to do more to stay at the fourth place. Otherwise, it can beat by EOS or even Stellar. Litecoin already has a market that I think is the same as ethereum and bitcoin. My Vote after BTC is for Ethereum, as its still most undervalued altcoin in the market. NEO (the Chinese ethereum) is also a good option for investment.

Very good advice but very few people will take the time to hear it and apply it, I'm going to be very direct investors are looking for profits and nothing else they do not care about the future of the project in which they are investing, they want money and they want it now.

It's not. In this time bitcoin can be considered as a safest zone for the crypto users as it gives guarantee to the liquidity and popularity, in my opinion if tezos and ethereum are the hottest coins to invest in 2019.
