i am interested to know what your opinions are about the hottest coins of 2019, what do you think is a good sound investment and why? (please state your reason) and if it's not too much trouble please let me know where i can buy the coins that you suggest.

I would preferred to invest in ethereum.. ethereum is for long term investment, we all know that it was more than a thousand dollar so why not invest on it

Yeah I agree, I still count on Ethereum and Bitcoin for long-term investment, I never pull out my money from them.
And then you can buy some other top 20 marketcap coin like stellar, waves, eos etc, to get some quick profit. And to get extra money, you can bet your money to some ICO or new coins, however do some real research before investing in ICO or new coins.

Just try to grab ethereum as the main choice, another major crypto seem can become another good choice but they are all look over valued compared with what has already offered by them all. For me that looks very bad thing buy them all right now.

Bitcoin and ETH will still most probably remain strong for 2019. There will be few coins that will outperform them in a likely tough market. I would like in to a few promising infrastructure coins for potentially big returns. Other projects are unlikely to see success in a bearish market.

Ethereum is great for 2019, the beacon chain is almost complete, there's a fork coming soon, staking was supposed to go live in 2020 but might come in early - overall I'm pretty bullish, at least short-term,.

If not, I'll suggest you to have a stop over with bitcoin before going to any other altcoin. You're fine if you will have bitcoin as your investment and hold it for few more months or years to come. I have proven to get a better return with bitcoin and it serves as the go and stop signal for other altcoins.

You should try to find the safest and not the hottest. Since hottest might burn you out.

many times I suggested a question as well as considering buying coins that were ranked in the top 10 in the coinmarketcap, this would be more likely to generate good profits. but this is just my advice all depends on you.

I don't see some special new coins. There are a few good projects, but BTC and ETH are still on top because they can be used in general cases as a well working cryptocurrency. And ETH is still king of ICOs and will stay it also in 2019.

I am not pretty sure that this coin would be doing great for there are better coin than this in the market. Just take consideration on the coinmarketcap.com and see the marlet cap volume of every crypto. Relatively the best crypto rank in the first 10 so if I were to invest then I will  on the first 4 crypto in the coinmarketcap.com list.

I would choose Ehereum from 'traditional coins' due to large upwards potential.
My bets are also Lympo (sport app with great dev team) and ALQO (soon to be released crypto exchange with very small cap).

The two characteristic you want out from a coin to invest are contradictory, a coin that is hot and it is moving in the ranks is most of the time not a sound investment, it is a coin with a lot of hype surrounding it and nothing more, and the coins which are a sound investment are most likely already at the top of the market and while they can go up in price the profits that you could get are nowhere near what you could get with coins with a lower market cap, so before you invest you need to decide in which type of coin you would like to invest.

NEO and BNB I think will be the hottest altcoin of 2019. BNB is developing extremely fast with binance exchange and BNB in 2019 will surely be more widely used and its price will definitely increase go to high. NEO is a wonderful and promising project in 2019 that can surpass ETH

Ethereum has being doing very well during the first days of this year and since the hard fork that will upgrade the network has not happened yet and many economist see this as a move in the right direction it is possible there are still profits to be had if you invest in ethereum, however if what you are looking are incredible profits ethereum may not be for you because I do not expect to see a growth of 1000% or something like that but if you are looking for realistic profits ethereum may be a good choice.

In case this may be a multiyear bear market, it can be a gamble when buying a coin, which may result in you holding bags for many years or worse it may force you to sell at a loss.  This is why I  strongly only recommend buying coins / tokens that pay the investors in dividends.  This way even if you hold a coin for years, you'll still regularly paid from a share of the company's profits.  This why I recommend investing in EVOAI.

If you want to be on the "safe" side, pick a coin with active development, active community and good use cases. BTC for first mover advantage, ETH for smart contracts, XMR for privacy and NANO for speed. If you are real fancy, you can go into the more specific applications, such as gambling, IOT, supply chain or audit trail tokens / coins. Those generally are considered higher risk/reward.

I would definitely throw out two names here: Zilliqa and Cardano. Both coins have good and solid teams behind them, cost little and have shown that when bull market hits can really grow their value by many times.

Lately it seems many are looking for coins which pay dividends but to me that is nothing but a smoke screen, what good can be the dividends if the coin in which you invested is no good? If what you want is to hold your coins for the long term then it is better to select coins which you know have good developers and a strong community which will guarantee that those coins will not disappear like what happens with the majority of the icos in the market.

Ethereum dropped again this time, and it's really thought. Ethereum and ripple still compete for each other to get the second position. This will be hot in the market. It is more safe to invest on the top coins than to depend on any new ICO right now. I'd rather buy more bitcoin and eth than to invest on small coins or any ICO, because I believe in this bear market we should only depend on a strong coin that can survive the trend, don't listen to those people who force you to invest on unfamiliar coins to you.

Grin has become a hot topic recently. it is a community-driven coin, just like Bitcoin. it can only be obtained by mining. it is a privacy coin. Recently, our forum added grin payments for the purchase of copper members.

For my part, Mimblewimble, and therefore Grin and Beam are the two best projects in crypto anonymous for 2/3 years. New features on anonymity protocols are quite rare things. The hottest coin to invest is Bitcoin. There are ample reasons to choose bitcoin. The reasons are the first ever digital coin, there is not any team behind the coin, the coin is being used as a method of payments and the coin will never disappear. The thing is by the time ethereum show some signs that it can be a good investment you are going to lose a substantial amount of the growth, so what you need to do is to buy a coin before those signs are present but that is severely undervalued and there is no coin in the market that gives me more confidence that it will grow in the long term than ethereum, in fact right now is having significant gains and it is likely this will continue during the next days.

For me, the hottest still the bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and on of the hottest right now is binance coin. The main reason behind those cryptocurrencies why you should invest in the great future and it's future price. In fact, next we might see again bitcoin halving and I know there is news abount ethereum 2.0 and it's kind of developement really triggered me to invest. There is somr altcoins that is worth holding right now but its too many to mention and for me they're not that hottest coin compared to bitcoin and ethereum.

Huobi token is still far away from BNB because BNB already has much features that use BNB such as launchpad, lending, and the others.
I think huobi need more events that use HT to join, so people will buy HT and the demand could be higher

but this might be effective for the long term because the market conditions are currently sluggish, it will be difficult to do it for the short term, the average of the coins that I mentioned earlier you can find in binance.

For investment this year, in my opinion is Bitcoin and ethereum, I believe in bitcoin because there might be good news about bitcoin. And ethereum has indeed been tested and will provide higher transaction speeds and plans to make technical improvements in 2019.

Maybe for now all the top coins will be interesting to invest because the situation has changed so much that it makes the price go lower, if you have a view of buying at a low price then now is the right time. But for me personally this situation might make many people lose their confidence about the future of cryptocurrency because the bear market is still continuing. I think only bitcoin and ether are the hottest coin that you can invest your money. I know theres a lot of coins but i trust only 2 coins to invest your money.
That 2 coins is good for long and short term investment.

A lot of people have said Bitcoin and Ethereum is best investment. It means, maybe if both of that coin reach it's ATH (if really can happen) a lot of people might be can be profit with it. If a lot of people buy and hold, it will only need time to happen.

BNB is the most hype coins this year i think.
There are a lot of BNB usability on binance and it has a very good community so it won't fall too much.
Also binance has expand their exchange and build binance US which means BNB will enter another big exchange

Well, with Ethereum we pretty much know what's coming with their 2.0 update. Once staking becomes active on ETH, people will be buying them up for sure. It's not really a coin with a team that lies about what they're doing. The development can be predicted here along with the price movement when the update comes out.

My personal choice are two coins at the momment. KAVA (binance) and NWC (KuCoin, HitBTC). They both have an interesting idea and i joined their TG groups to keep myself on track and i really like their approach to this industry.
