The way to beat the dump is to BUY, there is always a bottom and then its up from there, trust me I bought BTC at $800 just to watch in horror as it dropped to $440 just a few weeks later. But I bought more at about $443 and then made up for any losses because of buying at the low. We won't see it go below 600, unless some whale drops all they have on the markets, even then it seems there is a growing interest in the coin at its current price. I have about 12-14 BTC invested in FlutterCoin, I will HOLD much to my dismay of the current prices. It is like every other crypto on the market currently, we saw 1000+ BTC trade volumes just a month ago, now most are doing 20-30 BTC trade volumes. Just wait it out and there will be a explosion on the market and prices will skyrocket in a matter of hours. OFFICIAL FLT THREAD HERE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596673Let's make a fresh start here. Why is this change?

If you wonder why people are selling FLT at 600–700 level, you need to understand the herd psychology. Most of the sell pressure is fake (I admit I used several hundred thousands to push into my own low buy orders + dumped into my walls several times). If people are stupid enough to panic, I see no reason for me not to profit from their stupidity Just for fun, I used my twitter (~1900 followers) to expose every step during the last complete FLT cycle (900 -> 2500 -> 600 -> 2800), clearly showing the accumulation, mark-ups and the distribution phase. I even said when I sold and rebought during the exponential rise. Nevertheless, it didn't have any effect and hardly anyone believed/learned from it. If you have brains, you would notice at least a few factors: – FLT maintains over 100btc daily volume for weeks, the market isn't dead or dying by a long shot (just in case you haven't noticed lol ) – Oversized sellwalls at key price levels (far from the trading price, just in case) – Small and distributed buy orders that reappear each time after being sold into – Spam sells (10/100 coins) to hide the whole orderbook from the MintPal / CrypTrader page These are all valid points and as someone who has a pretty good grasp of pump and dump mechanics I agree that this happens and is part of the picture with FLT. But the fact is, these things are done all the time, in all coins with any volume in them, and it usually does not murder the coin so completely as has happened to FLT.

Only coins with significant (50btc +) daily volume are experiencing these mechanics in a scale big enough to be worth looking at. Any other low volume coin is irrelevant – the idea of course is still there, but the market isn't pushed in either direction and nobody gives a crap. Nobody murdered FLT, just consider the price swings as opportunities. There's no point in maintaining high price if you didn't buy low, get it? And given how susceptible to emotions all cryptotraders are, why not repeat the process over and over? FLT is a good coin with solid market action (see consistent trade volume) and attentions from all traders. It's not worth it to push the price up/down in a coin that nobody cares about – you need to buy-in and cash-out at some points and for that you need real volume (not fake) ...

It's apparent that the FLT market has been manipulated for some time. Not sure to what end though... could be the mother of all pumps... ...right? Guys? Hello?

I have 8-10btc invested in fluttercoin. I don't see a scam and I don't see problems with pumps and dumps crashing the coin. I've spoken with a couple of dumpers and they lost faith in the community and dev's attitude. I think the dev has done a great job with building the coin, but he is only one person and can't be expected to run all aspects of the coin. As long as he displays a positive attitude about the coin, we should pick up the slack and come up with a marketing plan. Investors had high hopes for the multipool, halving, and merchant adoption. When it became apparent that the community had no PR/Marketing team and the multipool didn't work, they jumped ship to either reenter when this is fixed and prices are lower, or to just cut losses and move on with a better investment.
I'm down way too much to sell out and it would crush the coin. Hopefully, there is no inherent flaw with the coin and it's not a scam (which I have no indication that it is). If the price gets low enough and stabilizes, people might come back to take advantage of bargain prices.
We, as a community, need to stay positive. Investors don't like a community that shows fear and loses faith. The multipool will help buying pressure and the halving will reduce selling pressure. If we can manage to get a vibrant community in reddit and in the official thread, then we could move back up to the 1000' quickly. What I don't want to see is people dumping when we get back to the 1000's after weathering such a tough situation. Stay strong and don't sell when we come back as the momentum will be moving up due to faith garnered within the crypto community.

Shortly after the dump the irc channel became active for a little. I could post a pastebin if anyone is interested but it's quite long. The TL;DR is for the people in charge of irc, forums, twitter, reddit, and facebook to get together and assign a community manager who can organize all these communication outlets and keep everyone updated. So someone in charge right now has to get that organized. Kidd is pretty busy with the PoT update but it seems like he's in charge for now. If he can assign someone to do it and get the right people in touch so we can get this coin under control.

AC dipped to the 600's for days and then over several days shot back up. AC was nothing special. A cheap clone knockoff that turned into a huge scam. FLT is not one of these coins but I expect to see a similar situation. Do not expect to see the prices hold here for too long.

There's not enough volume for it to have been manipulated. It just faded away and wasn't heard due to noise from bc,wc,ult, drk, and ac. BTW, AC was a scam coin. They found 3 billion hidden coins in the chain that the developer had premined for himself.

V2 will make POT rewards larger right?
Does it mean that coin supply will be larger than expected ? Could it be a reason why people are dumping right now?

I've got a buy in a 650. Anyone else want to join me so we can at least stop the bleeding and build up from here? Even 1btc, .1, or even .01. Let's band together and show our faith in the coin by putting our money where are mouths are.

Seems to be building back to 700's. Please pull your sell walls if you can. I'm not letting this ship sink. We are going to build the community and market the hell out of fluttercoin so everyone knows why PoT is so beneficial, especially when stacked with PoS. Who all has access to changing the reddit sub and to the website/blog?

I actually grabbed about 40 FLT at 555... forgot i had a bid way down there Lucky bastard! ... so you are the one holding the "rock bottom" record! You should get special title here, "Rock Bottom". If you are gay it would be even funnier 40 FLT are not making you rich tho. Considering my bid was for 45000 FLT, i was a bit underwhelmed by the catch.. but at the same time lucky to get any at all. Or, maybe this is just another day we'll look at next week ... and wonder how great it would be if we could get FLT back up to 555...
