i downloaded the wallet for mac, but it doesn't work…

what can i do?

I am not a dev nor do I have a Mac, but I do know what the next question will be which is:  "What does 'It didn't work' mean, specifically?"

i.e. explain the steps you took and which part of the process of those steps didn't do what you expected to do.

i downloaded the file on my computer
when i try to open the file i get this message : the program has quit unexpectedly

Sad

basicly i can't open my wallet. Undecided
Have noticed lots of trouble with the Mac version... Some people have no issues, other have tons.  Can you get me the debug info? it could be missing dependencies or something.

Thing that sucks is that I don't have a mac, just mac 10.8.5 and 10.9.2 VM's.  LOL lets move the price up to 10000 so I can sell maybe 100K flt and buy a mac???

I will work on this ASAP, we need to get these builds on point.  If anyone else has building experience on a Mac feel free to offer assistance as well could use the help.

i send you the debug info in PM.

im sweating my balls off, having a large amount of FLT's on an exchange  Shocked

Maybe mister INSTACASH can make us a wallet? his wallet for bc works perfect.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Is Freebiescoin based on Flutter coin  Huh https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577425.0;topicseen

Well if you checked the thread you will know that it is. It was a matter of time before somebody copied PoT. But it's actually good news for Fluttercoin imho, because the more it gets copied the more people will want to check the original.

Imitation is the sincerest form of FLTtery

how long does it take for the coin to be reflected in your pool account? been mining for an hour only getting 32coins.. with my current hashrate @ 4.2mh/s

coinwarz says i should be getting 100+ coins per hour.. is there something i missing?

block halving was yesterday but coinwars is showing still the old block reward

so whats the fair amount of coin that i will get  with a 4.2mh/s setup? per hour?

FFS, you've already been mining for some time another coin and still don't get it? There's no clear answer, every hour can be different, one block can take 10 minutes, and another can take 2 hours. You should consider a daily profit in general. Enter your data in the Coinwarz calculator and then divide by 2, because the block reward now is 2500, not 5000. For example, if Coinwarz shows you can get 2000 FLT a day, it means now you can get about 900-1000 FLT a day.

buyer drying up. Nobody wants to buy this coin anymore. Wait for the big dump, and than panic sell and never look back.

Shame, there really isn't anything great to buy right now, BC going well but you won't get a 5x out of it at these prices, and whitecoin is a disaster. FLT would be a good bet for a coin that is actually worth something ...

Yeah, it's a bit boring for traders right now. I had some Whitecoin, but sold off at 2200 on Mintpal, which so far has been the right choice. Unfortunately I also had to sell off FTL as I was starting to leave my comfort zone. Still have some in storage though as I think price might go up in the coming weeks. So I will be sticking around.

Coinwarz is currently wrong because the block reward is now half.  I've noticed that several pools have not be accurate with their rewards.  I've had coins in estimate and then they disappear to 0 unconfirmed.  It can take a while to see your coins which didn't make sense to me.  A week ago this wasn't the case.  I swapped around to different pools to see if it happened in other places.  I now mine at https://flt.crunchharder.net.  I think it has to do with the increased hashrate we were seeing.  That rate has dropped off some so it should get better now.

Personally I liked fluttercoin very much, I liked the new proof of transaction concept, but there is 170 Millino fulltercoin, and if you see the richlist you can see many stakeholders with millions of fluttercoins. I don't think the price can go up more, because there is a lot of coins out there, and the inflation is too high for this one.

I just made some nice profit with Blackcoin, now searching other altcoins to invest in. Found the Whitecoin but didn't like much.
Then found Cinni.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.0

Only 15 Million at the PoW stage will be mined, and the PoS inflation rate is acceptable, so there won't be much supply like with Fluttercoin, but we can't buy much now because at the exchanges there are almost no sell orders.

I was interested in cinni when the dev was offering free capped distribution of coins to volunteers and then didn't follow through on his plan. Now those 15 million will be in the hands of a few fat pig miners. Sounds great -_-

But you can still stake your coins to secure the network even though you aren't eligible for a reward... for example, by wallet says next reward is 12 days, and its staking

And all you have to do to start staking and securing the network is to keep your wallet open?

There is no better distribution than PoW...
I am glad he didn't give away free coins to the public for nothing work.

With these free giveaways we can't measure how much was landed to the public and how much the developer gave for himself.
See faircoin, I'm sure the developer gave himself 10 Million faircoin at least if not more...

3 days mining, low post count in thread... Yeah looks like only a few miners... Very fair and wide distribution  Roll Eyes

Fluttercoin is King

Price has dropped overnight as miners have left to have a go at Whitecoin. 5 gh/s on Flutter however remaining is incredible. Signals a top 15 / top 20 coin.

When everyone finishes mining blackcoin as it won't take long, many will come back to Flutter. That is of course if Whitecoin isn't a remarkable scam/fad which it i'm currently 99% sure it is like most others with a brain ;-).

That rocket is going to take off and buy all the way up to the moon, without realizing the dev laid the premine in sales all along the way? >.<

I can see blackcoin being a little private club thing for rich folks to buy cars and big things from one another.

I can see Fluttercoin as the coin widely used by females shoppers online, the PoT fitting very well for the stereotypical woman who buys many small objects online from different vendors (make-up and the works!)

GL to both these coins until a better code than bitcoin is created...

You make a very good point about the female thing actually. I am also thinking that this is the first coin that can also have real female appeal if marketed correctly. And we all know how much do women like to shop.
