look at that, soon as the fork went over successfully, the price on bter went way higher https://bter.com/trade/flt_btc

in two days the price will be over 1000 satoshi  Grin but is not enought

the price and volume are exploding. The actual price is too low, please don't sell, wait!

any predictions on the difficulty one week from now? let's say block 17000. closest guess gets 501 fluttercoins.  Smiley
Depends on if more people see this coin, it needs to be on more exchanges and get more people using it, it has great features. People need to know its not just a clone coin.

i think a lot of people are interested in this coin, it's just gonna take a few days after today's fork to be sure it's running fine before they trust their mining rigs with it. it will happen. hell it already is happening!  Cheesy

I think it's a good idea if the dev updated the thread title to include PoW/PoS/PoT (new!) or some such like the last one had - new features grab interest. Put something in the title to give people a reason to look at this coin versus any of the other clones. As of now there's no reason for someone looking at threads to assume it's anything other than another copy/paste scrypt clone.

i agree, but one thing i've noticed about kidcoin is he is pretty low key. not too much a marketing guy, he seems to just focus on getting the coin running smoothly. so his brain doesn't focus so much on things like you suggested. so while i agree with you, i can understand why he hasn't changed the title.

oh and the last thread that had that title wasn't started by the dev

There definately needs to be a better block explorer, maybe see if bitinfocharts will add us: http://bitinfocharts.com
Or if that isn't possible someone should launch a bitcoin-abe based explorer.

The fact that this has new features like Proof of Transaction on top of PoW and PoS should be in the title, definitely get on that.

kidcoin if you get a chance, can you explain a little about the change that will be implemented about the 6 minute maximum block time? so if a block gets stuck, it forces the network to start a new block? what happens if a block hits a 6 minute max, does it just orphan or something?

I would also some explanations about the PoB. Not sure to understand this.
Look like a good dev but nothing technical is correctly explained.

You have to be on the latest fluttercoin client and your pool should be on the latest fluttercoin client.

the way i understand it, anytime 501 or more fluttercoins is sent from one address to another, there is a small chance that BOTH the sender and the receiver can receive a random fluttercoin reward. i'm not entirely sure what the reward is, but i think it's a random number of coins that is the same range as the current block reward.

i'm not completely certain though.

and it looks like this coin is really taking off, difficulty already at 85

Are the FLT/day correct on the pools? So about 1000FLT/Mh/day?

The difficulty is fucking insane already. At the start I could get 100,000 coins a day, and now it's only 1,000...  Grin

I made a fluttercoin explorer with current USD price and market cap.
Will be updating it periodically. Should have address lookup and such very soon.

The fork went smooth , no problems. So people are starting to mine it. Who knows how high the difficulty will go, it usually depends on the price a coin is trading on the exchanges to determine how high a difficulty people are willing to mine at.

We are actually already #70 if we get added to coinmarketcap if my calulations are correct.
