Ya'll are lucky. I wish mine would stake more than one time lol. I had mined some ghostcoins and when they started staking, I was getting 8 coins+ every few minutes for a couple of days so thats how I thought this one was suppose to work out. Guess we will have to wait to see what kidcoin says.
i've only gotten 1 stake, it was for 10 coins. stake amount 235k Yeah, there was some stupid NVC thing that limited POS rewards to 10 to try to get people to break up coins into smaller inputs - doesn't effect though your may yearly interest. This is removed with the new update that will drop tonight (won't take effect until the 19th of April though) so the stake amount will still be the same that we would have gotten if there wasn't a limit to 10, we just have to wait a little bit for it to kick in? or we basically won't get the stake for the last month + the next few day til the update?

kidcoin, do you anything about multipools? can you steer me in the right direction? equipment, ddos protection, software etc, etc. I would try and setup a multipool and buy the right equipment, but I'd need guidance.
we should probably get an existing pool operator to run it. they can probably set it up fast since they have experience. Yes ^^ use an existing one. Yeah you really have to know what you're doing with a pool. Everyone's coins are in your hands...

I'll keep researching anyway for my own knowledge, if anything.. *shrugs* editted additions: it is a 'cryptodog eat cryptodog world' so if we don't fight back soon, i don't see as bright of a future but not a bad one either, we've been ok so far... multipool mining also has greater effect with coins no longer mined via PoW. Still is good for mining while PoW exists too. Not suggesting anything, merely stating a fact.

You can unlock the wallet in the GUI now as well
Yes! This for me is major. The average joe probably doesn't want to go into the console to mint coins. Can't wait to see the new wallet!

Not suggesting anything, merely stating a fact. well, PoW won't be around much longer. so by the time someone sets it up and it's working, PoW will be out the door for FLT. i wonder what coins we should mine on that multipool? if scrypt asics ship, unless some of us get one of the 250mh machines, we won't be able to mine much. maybe we should mine a scrypt n coin? sell that for btc, then buy flt

or start it mining a scrypt coin or coins, and switch to scrypt-n if the hashrate spikes too high to be profitable.

POW will be around forever...the number of coins that are mined means nothing really, its the value. And on top of that rewards will be pretty high for the next 2 months.

Or make the first X11 multipool. I know it might look as if it's too early for this but you can mark this post and check the situation in a couple of months.

You can setup the multipool to select whichever algo you want, as long as it's an option in the software. you can use coinwarz in certain ones to aim the hashes towards the profitable coins.
