Kidcoin do you have a suggestion on the best way to get a multipool? Seems like a crucial piece to the puzzle and we haven't set plans to get it started. I can help coordinate it if you and Trujillo need extra help.

So why is the value/trading volume so much increasing, I don't get it. Only because there are rumors of a multipool?

Well that plus the PoW reward is ramping down fast...most PoW is already done, coin supply is limited.

Plus of course this is the first and so far the only coin with Proof of Transaction

Personally, I suspect that the biggest factor is that the altcoin community is terrified of the impact ASICs will have on mining, exposing coins to 51% attacks, etc. What Fluttercoin is doing (like Blackcoin and a few others) with PoS and PoT seems like a promising solution. In the same way that people flocked to Litecoin when it developed a mining algorithm resistant to SHA256 ASICs, they are now flocking to coins that counter the emerging threat of Scrypt ASICs.

I've been focusing on Dogecoins, and the ASIC thing is definitely a big topic of conversation. I bought a bit of FLT and BC yesterday morning, just to see what would happen, and it's been electrifying. I'm now all in, for the time being.

I think FLT may just keep rising until the Scrypt ASICs come out in full force and it either is or isn't the zombie apocalypse. If it isn't, I'll hopefully be able to switch back to Doge with profits made from FLT in the interim. If it is, then my guess is FLT will continue to skyrocket. Either way, I think this is the place to store value over the next couple of months.

For those of you who are committed FLT-fans, I think this security from ASIC threat is a major, major selling point and ought to be the focus of your marketing and outreach to people scared of the impact on other altcoins.

Cryptsy will add it whether we vote or not. 900 BTC volume between bter and mintpal in the last 24 hours. They want a piece of that action for sure.

Hello to all of our new community members! Glad that you all have decided to join us. If any of you are interested in helping out on the development side of FLT please PM me. Our Community Development Team is always looking for new dedicated individuals.

Also, I do not believe its necessary to campaign for new exchanges as FLT has never once done a voting campaign and we've gotten listed on most of the big ones.

Interesting idea. Threat of asics may very well be part of the migration to PoS coins. But they are still quite a while from shipping. I almost bought a Titan.

I know ... if you can't beat em, right?

I know the ASICs are still a ways off, but it is something that at least some people are seriously freaking out about. My own technical understanding is too weak for me to really get if this is a serious concern or not. But what I do know is that enough people think it's serious enough to move markets.

The amazing movement in FLT over the last 24 hours is also going to drive interest on its own. People are scrolling down the list of coins on coinmarketcap and going, holy crap, this one just jumped 500% in one day. Then you look at the specs of the coin and you realize that it's really got some bright ideas relevant to this whole ASIC issue, and the overall professionalism of the web site and presentation, plus a bit of lightheartedness with the butterfly thing (coming from the Doge community, I definitely prefer a more casual approach from a branding perspective). And of course the other factor is that it still looks early enough in the coin's life cycle that you can buy a bunch cheap and hopefully ride the lightning.

At least ... that's what I'm thinking.

I really don't think that the main reason for the rise of BC, FAC, FLT etc. is the coming asics wave. Just take a look at Vertcoin, DarkCoin and a few more that are asics resistant and there is no rise there.

I personally don't understand the rise of BC. I have been following FAC and FLT from almost day 1 and I can say that for me FLT is the most interesting out of the 3 coins and yet it has the smallest market cap. Proof of transaction is really something that gives FLT the edge over almost any other coin out there.

People better hold on to their FLT because this coin is going top 5 before the end of the year, mark my words.

Wow, that's encouraging. And just think ... right now, Americans are waking up, yawning and stretching their arms, firing up their laptops, checking coinmarketcap then doing a double-take and going "FLT WTF!?? - where do I buy some of that?"

The flutter party is just getting started. Just wait until the blocks start halving, and the multipool is ready. The price now is just the first flame, soon it will be like a raging forest fire.

There is a lot of +ve activity in altcoins (particulary PoS coins).
I think its FLTs turn to be in the spotlight very soon ...

Need to spread the word people .. not many know about FLT

I sort of called it ... later tonight should be interesting ... that's the time the big pumps have been happening to the other coins (like BC)
