First, if this is your second account, I'll start by asking: why are you hiding which is your other account (which is allegedly inactive)?
Does it change anything? You know that it is allowed under the forum rules. I don't care whether you believe me or not.
Secondly, you received negative feedback on October 9th. As far as I know, that wasn't when you were a newbie. So, at this point I don't understand.
The first negative feedback I received was removed after other newbies complained to the DT abuser who left it.
Thirdly, when I read this negative feedback (along with what you did in response), it seems more like a coffee shop argument than anything else.
That's correct.
Fourthly, I see many of your feedbacks without references, which also doesn't help others to evaluate. Because for me, a reference is more valuable than an isolated phrase. Especially when the feedback is negative. If it's positive, I understand there's no need for a specific reference, because it could involve issues handled personally or outside the forum.
If you look at the feedbacks DT member AHOYBRAUSE has sent (
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3442536), there are 13 negative ratings, and only 6 of them have references. That's less than 50%. Why don't you ask these questions to him?
In short, the system may not be perfect, and some may abuse it. But in the end, it works out. And I went on to say that, more than feedback, it's the actions each person takes that prove whether that feedback was given well or poorly.
The original system was well guarded. This system is game. It just takes a year to infiltrate DT2 and rotate into DT1 if you know what you are doing.
Scammers can exploit the system and run scams in marketplace boards through short lived DT2 accounts, sell DT2 accounts, support scam operations, etc.
The vulnerability runs from merits to DT1 to marketplace boards. I expect theymos to update the system by end of this year.
Fifth, when I look at your profile, I still think you're not using your trust settings correctly (following the logic you yourself say is correct). But, from the way you talk, you seem to understand how it works, so I might be misunderstanding it.
I want to see the forum the way most people see it. I don't discriminate between trusted and untrusted feedback when deciding who to trust. I don't follow the rules of a system that is failing.
