do i have to keep the wallet always open to be eligible for pos mining? I read at the Mint thread that it doesn't matter if you close it. Thing is, doesn't my wallet lock again when closing it? Cnfused  Huh

Hi placebo. are you going to hold on to some of this coin to generate POS coin?

I'm a investor that mine conis, i'm not a miner that dumps coins. What i mean is, i will sell my coins when i believe the price is high enough. If the price stay too low then i will keep it, and if the price stay a long time too low and this generate POS coin then it is a nice extra Smiley

I've a target price of 100sats on this coin... with a listing mintpal, we should maybe be able to hit 150 sats, i don't believe it will move a lot higher then 150 sats.

I think the potential is far higher.

The wallet does not need to be open the whole time. The more it is open the more chance you will get POS generation. Though it takes a few weeks for POS, it would be best to open it every couple of weeks for a few days at least.

Spain coin is a totally different thing , It's based on some wild assumptions.

The pool is working fine. There was a DDOS for a couple of minutes, now some countries are blocked again.

Please keep in mind that during a DDOS only affects the web interface and not the actual mining performance or stratum server.

Indeed, people need to pay their electricity bills...no? and then the real believers can buy cheap coins and take the risk? So both parties will win.

There is NO advantage to having it listed on more than one exchange at this time. Want to sell your coins to cover your electricity? Nobody is stopping you. C-Cex has been trading Ghost since day 2.

The only reason people want Ghost on Mintpal is so they can play the usual game of buy low and sell high... dumping 100s of thousands of coins a day, and driving the price into the floor.

Please actually read the article I posted and stop blindly encouraging people to spend money voting for Ghost to be added to Mintpal when it's not only not needed, it would end up hurting the coin.

^This. Smiley

While i'd like it listed on more exchanges, I think the coin has a long and fruitful future ahead of it. Those of you who are mining it now will reap those rewards! Smiley Keep mining and when it's listed on more exchanges, it's because it needs to. Not because 3 people constantly voted for it.

Hi all,

I started a site this week that monitors the mining pools of various coins. The intent was:

  • Help miners find pools.
  • Help any observers who want to take a quick glance at the status of mining pools.
  • Help communities prevent 51% attacks.

I have added Ghostcoin at the request of 9kracing. If I missed any active mining pools that you know of, please let me know so I can add it.
