Hi all,

I started a site this week that monitors the mining pools of various coins. The intent was:

  • Help miners find pools.
  • Help any observers who want to take a quick glance at the status of mining pools.
  • Help communities prevent 51% attacks.

I have added Ghostcoin at the request of 9kracing. If I missed any active mining pools that you know of, please let me know so I can add it.

http://www.pool51.com/ghc

Very nice work you did there. Thank you for adding Ghostcoin and for your work Smiley

Indeed, people need to pay their electricity bills...no? and then the real believers can buy cheap coins and take the risk? So both parties will win.

Sorry but peoples not mine for their electricity bills. "So both parties will win": you consider the electricity company for one of the party?

If I had problems paying my electricity bills I would seek other hobbies than crytocurrency mining.

If a coin is going to succeed it don't matter if it's listed on every exchange. Your arguments are invalid people will dump their coins no matter what because I don't care what anyone says the end goal is BTC and then fiat I don't know about you people but I don't mine for free. The best thing for this coin would be Mintpal there's nothing wrong with exposure unless you guys are affraid it will bring the net hashrate up and in turn bring the difficulty up but how is that bad for the coin? Oh it isn't that would be bad for you because that would cut into your profits. Don't listen to these clowns who say it will hurt the coin.

Go vote at Mintpal!!!!!

Not always, another possible goal is a currency with stores.

Please register at http://cryptoawards.com/ and try to add Ghost coin to some of those rewards, we need 5 votes to be added. I believe this will be a nice marketing stunt as some followers of http://cryptoawards.com/ are people with some nice amount of BTCs.

Please have a look at mintpal too:

Vote on Ghostcoin... 5 votes per hour.

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

Klondike coin hit the market with almost no BTCs deposits, all community driven votes, we have a decent amount of miners, if everybody put some work in it, then we can get listed on mintpal within one month.

I also believe that DEV need to ask for getting Ghostcoin listed in

https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/

Look how Klondike coin was able to achieve so many votes with again not using too much BTCs, by using the cryptsy points you can achieve a lot better result.

We have a lot of work to do as a community to spread the word around Ghostcoin. Ghostcoin concept is very nice, it is not a copy & paste coin. There are some interesting future in it.

If everybody would add Ghostcoin twitter account to their followers and when Ghostcoin tweet something you retweet it to all your followers then we can reach 100,000 unique people. How more people know about Ghostcoin, how more money I earn Cheesy, and with I, I mean, everybody that owns Ghostcoins. DEV is working on the coin, but DEV needsd a active community, they need to support DEV and DEV need to support the community, in this way you can create interest of other people in Ghostcoin and maybe start creating a little hype around it.

Just had a little chat with a bigger mining pool owner then the mining pools that are currently listed. Adding a bigger name, can result in more people recognizing Ghostcoin as they already have a few miners mining on their pools for other coins. This should give us a little boost, so i hope that he will accept it and this should result in more hashrate.
