XRP competing places with ETH?

Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.

It's going to be a tight battle between the two this whole year and there's a big possibility that Ripple will stay on that place and eventually get the permanent position, the best time to reclaim it is after the constantinople hardfork.

Well, it's all competition in cryptocurrency to begin with. So it is not a surprise if xrp will replace eth on it's spot. But I don't see any big changes on the price of ripple only that eth is just down this days.

They compete to each other. We are waiting for the best competition which among the two coins will increase very high the value first this year 2019. But probably ethereum will win for sure.  In reality most of the investor are looking only for the places to say that coin is potemtial but for me the other charateristics does not have the other xoin so I can say that is potential.

2 coins of different product , of course, I doubt that ripple will replace the Ethereum but I think the beginning of a new bull market the Ethereum again will restore its capitalization and will again in 2nd place!

I would not call this is a competition, This is happening only because of the negative hype about Ethereum! The matter is, Ethereum hard fork is coming which made a big hype in the crypto community but still, XRP claimed the second position from Ethereum?! This is strange now! Ripple's popularity is increasing, even we can see Ripple at the second place for a long time if the ETH fork not work!

Though this market is very good to buy coins, but I stopped buying now. If you have enough money then you may go for buying some coins now! Because this is the time, or wait a few days more, because BTC can dump to under 3K USD!

Yes, ripple is competing nicely with ethereum. Though it's a bit awkward to imagine that it is happening prior to the ethereum hard fork. It seems that some investors don't see a bright future for ethereum. However, the decline of ethereum might be the effect of price manupulation. Now for ripple it is always as competitive as usual. Several finanancial institutions are testing the ripple platform. Good opportunity for ripple.

I think the second place position of XRP will not last that long because ethereum will come back very strong after the constantnopole upgrade. Remember that the upgrade will improve the ethereum but won't create a new good which is good. Just like today wherein ethereum increases by 10% while ripple only 4%.

Ripple had taken back the second spot in terms of market capitalization. The competition is only in terms of market cap. These two digital assets, ripple and ethereum, function differently. Ripple for payment system useful in banks while ethereum is more on smart contracts and dapp. So, in other words, the position won't matter anymore.
