Though I have invested both of this coin i felt more secure in ETH than XRP since the last one is centralized and majority of coins are still kept by the parent company but with the listing of XRP in coinbase I think this two coins would start to head to head competition again. Looking to the current XRP chart it seems that it would go for breakout anytime sooner.

It may catch up ethereum in the coinmarket cap value but ethereum has more real life usage than XRP which indicates that which coin is better of both.
Honestly I don't know why people still investing on centralized crypto currency.

Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.
Yes that's true it's too past and with short period of time that ripple overtakes Ethereum , maybe it is because of massive adaptation of this coin by people and industry like banks and different shipping company which is now using ripple as their payments. |

As you know ETH was second position in coinmarketcap and XRP was defeat due to its adoption by financial institutions and after ETH hardfork news ETH was again second position so in future you will see XRP ant second number due to its more adoptions by banking sector.So you can invest in XRP .

actually all depends on investors because prices are influenced by transactions and sometimes large investors greatly affect a project because if a large investor has moved it will be followed by many people so that prices and positions can rise. |

Now there is a lot of competition between these coins , but for me of course the only leader is Ethereum , since the platform for ico is very much useful for the market than ripple |

I do not care about it because I do not see any reason why it is important. I own both coins, so for me it will be good if both coins grow and give me a good return. |

Well, they have been in sought of contest these days. At times for few weeks, ripple outshined ETH and this was followed by a takeoff of ETH again and occupied the second position in the cryptocurrency market. So this is an indication to the potential of both currencies and the current market value is low as well so it should be owned. Both of them. I like ETH more than ripple but investing some handsome amount of money in ripple can really give back high returns. |

As we can see, Ethereum has already regained its second position. It is so different coins that they have competition only in capitalization in the market

If playing nicely, both coins can be hold as the potentials to grow is really big after bitcoin comes to bull trend, we knew that the market still not performing and still unable to bounce back to the last high, with this opportunities buying and holding to projects that have a good competitions from the CMC can generate potential profits. |

The marketcap between ETH and XRP is just little bit different, so both coin can be changed the ranking anytimes. XRP is one of the good coin for long term investment because they has alot of partnership with big company, that mean the demand will increase later. XRP has potential to rally more than 10x in bull market, so its times to accumulate it and hold untill the price going up multiple.

To be honest I do not like Ripple and its development team. Pure speculation. Ethereum is much more useful in its technology for cryptocurrency.

xrp competes with places with eth in positions two and three, but now eth dominates more and eth is the best platform composition that can fix xrp. so I think this is something that should be made as an option

A lot of altcoins is built on the ether platform. Ether has established a vast ecosystem. Its price will affect the price of most altcoins. XRP is just a banker's coin. Its impact on altcoins is very limited.

ETH will not be able to maintain the No. 1 position for too long in the future. In the next 2-3 years, a lot of altcoin is the rival of ETH, TRON, BNB, EOS ... If these 3 altcoin are growing so fast, I believe that ETH will soon go down to 3rd or 4th place. |

None of the networks you mentioned is even close to Ethereum, not even remotely close. |
