Your portfolio will not look good all the time, there are times that the market struggles, hence, your portfolio are also affected very much.
I can say based on my experience that my portfolio has really drop significantly but I don't mind that price because I hold and a holder should only conclude he is at profit or at loss once he sold his asset/coins.

I agree. Crypto is the future, we cannot prevent it from conquering the world anymore. It will be the future monetary system of the world. It will be beneficial for many but will not for some still knowing that some people are used with using traditional system. In terms of holding, you should not actually hold your investment for a very long time or up until it gets declared as the currency worldwide, you should depend it on the current market value of the coin you are currently investing with.

In my opinion, holding bitcoin is not much better rather it is the best. Research is the most important thing to discover all the unknowns and this should be done before investing in a coin. It wont be of much use to earn after investment has been done. Knowledge is power. If on deep research, you find unexpected or creepy facts, then it would be better to not go for that ICO or project. Go for the trustworthy stuff like bitcoin.

I hope this coming last 2 months of the year 2019 will have improvement on bitcoin and same as in the altcoins because I am still holding my altcoins and some bitcoins to wait the bull run that may occur this coming year 2020 up to the present. Holding does not guarantee that you will have a good life as it does not guarantee that you will earn more money of it. But, holding can be your investment, either loss or win, it's up on the coins/altcoins you will hold, how long you will hold it and your patience.
