so far the market has not shown signs of recovery, and waiting for the market to recover is indeed very boring. it's better not to look at the market for a long time or you will be disappointed.

we cannot predict the year look boring because we are just in the first quarter of this year and market will pump up slowly in the upcoming quarters i believe but we are in harder time and we have to be patient and start looking out for other options as well to get profit.

Boring 2019? We have just started and there is a long way to go. The first quarter results doesn't demonstrate the ability of market it's just a matter of time. We are still in the bearish market which is expected in the first quarter as last year's predictions were just hype not a reality. If you want to see a massive pump then hodl and wait for your day.

Really boring begining of 2019 year, price is stuck in 3.5K and it only falls which is very bad. As I see everyone wants high pricr, mining is unprofitable, traders didn't see any significant profit so why does it all still happen? If we all want high price, also new year is related to something new in life (still for many people), new begining, why are we still in stuck? Seems can't get answer on this. Once I thought it all was related to mining but it has been continuing so long that now I have no idea.

If anything, the current "boring" market is in fact quite scary. The same shit happened in September through October (and early November) last year, when the price had been stagnating in a similar pattern in the 6-7k range. And within two weeks (or so) it crashed 2 times. Folks say that it was because of the hash wars but personally, I think they were only a trigger, if at all. So let's all hope and pray that the price won't crash lower

it sounds cliché, but it's true. in a long term distribution cycle like this, the speculators are a huge drag on price. they're not buying coins to hoard or transact with (removing supply). they're buying coins to sell higher. so in a big downtrend, they represent supply and resistance---either selling into bounces to cut losses, or selling into crashes out of capitulation.

we need these weak hands to sell out to stronger hands, particularly real users who aren't intent on dumping coins back on the market. that takes time: in 2015 it took something like 9 months after the final capitulation selloff occurred before the bull market was re-established. indeed, it's probably gonna be a boring 2019.

You may ask that, technically speaking, real adoption also leads to a diminishing supply available for speculation which in turn should also cause an increase in volatility. Many of those lucky hodler who are surprise about their sleeping asset which it resulted a greater success. Last time something like this happened and the market didn't react that kinda showed us how much the regular public has control over the price and how much the whales did. Since the market is not controlled and changing because of the daily stuff the only thing that could change the price right now is a huge movement, there needs to be a huge buy or huge sell to change the way we are stabilized right now and considering it is more common for whales to sell a lot of coins instead of buy, it looks like it could be dangerous.

Well, unless some whale is forced to liquidate his stash for whatever reason. And then we can easily see Bitcoin crash to new local lows as it is not clear either how much support is underneath at the moment. But that's not my point. Even if there are no more sellers at this price, you will be surprised how many will pop up at prices closer to the 5k mark. It will take a huge surge in demand to cut through that resistance. And while we are at it, things don't look similar to the first half of 2015. But I seem to repeat myself

It's boring when you are not making money, that's normal dude.
You need to be patient because that is required in order for you to save yourself  from selling at a lower price.
I would not be bored if I have enough spare money to buy, I will never think twice of buying more as the opportunity is already in front of me.

Sometimes we ask that the price will be dump when there is a bull run so we could buy, now here it is, why are we not buying it?

I don't think you should be bored with decline, and use it as an opportunity to have more, because that would be an opportunity for greater profits, be patient because the market has the opportunity to rise.
