That's the point which i agreed with because all most all my coins were bought during their ICO stages but be dumped few days after some of their listing while those that were listed were dumped instantly because of the current market crashes. To avoid dump after listing is critical based on owned view.

The most common reason is that the number of people who want to sell a token is much higher than the number of people who want to buy. The money raised from the ico should be at least keep some to buy back from the seller so as to attract more buyers and can even sell them back when the price increase as a form of making more profit, but they will rather hold it till the coin get dump.

If listings on market that have a large volume but the project such and tokens is not great of course investors will be reluctant to buy and finally only in use as a game of whales. Dumping of cryptocurrencies simply means that people are selling off because they have no reason to hold on to those tokens for much longer and this can be caused by either the cryptocurrency not being backed by a project that has no real future or the cryptocurrency project team are falling short of their promises and are unable to meet their milestones.
