Investing in Bitcoin in 2019?

I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.


What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?

In my own personal opinion, investing in bitcoin this 2019 can be worth it because a lot of people would still want to invest their money in bitcoin, even the price of of bitcoin decreased. They still believe that bitcoin would rise up its price again.

This year is actually the right time for investment, the price is cheap because we already dip.
If there's big news this year I am sure a lot of people will make money on this year, but if not, we can still wait until the bear is over.
No stopping us here, even if it's bearish but this market is not gonna be permanent and as long as we are strong in holding, we do have chance to be profitable.

Agree with you I am sure bitcoin will rise high in 2019 and price will make us get all good profit that we miss opportunity to get profit, since one year it was low and people who invested took good chance and those who are now investing are making wise decision but in whole situation panic selling is the only worst decision taken by investors.

Yes, doing research first is very important and trying to invest with money that is ready to lose, panic when falling prices will continue to get worse if you do not do research and are not ready to lose your money. But if we talk about bitcoin, there is nothing to worry about because the potential to recover will definitely occur if we are able to be patient for longer.

Investing this year is good in preparation for the future, we are expecting to see a bull run but it could not happen this year.

yes, I think now it's worth trying, but all the decisions are on you. in my opinion the current price of bitcoin is below and I'm optimistic that prices will definitely rise again soon. if I am allowed to give advice, I suggest buying immediately earlier this year, and trading daily but not making long-term investments. I see the current market movement is quite stable and moves like a small wave. maybe with current market movements, you can use it to find income by trading daily. try to learn about market analysis and immediately make a decision to start, maybe that's the best for me.
