Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins

Most hunter (probably) had the same problem as yours. Personally, I did the same thing but I only choose an altcoin or coin that is worth holding like INS which will have a great year thid year. But for now whenever I receive bounties I would probably sell it right away then use it for trading purposes.

There is no problem in holding your tokens even if the bull run never occur , there is a big possiblity for a bull run but not this time , it takes time again for the bull run to happen. I also made a mistake just like your experience and the tokens i have still i hold and waiting for their value to goes high to gain enough profits from my holdings.

Wrong.
It is not a mistake to keep it. It is just a bear market and it went too deep.
If the bounty you supported is really successful then they are jusy dragged by it.
Although, they must have their own value. Problem is, they are all leaning with bitcoin and ethereum if ERC20.

You could still wait if you have the patience.

Indeed there is no one when the bull run will happen, that is why beside holding my coins until the bull run, i done some trading to fill that space so there will always available flow of profit even if its just a little, that could be enough to at least filling that waiting period.

i did encounter many things since i started doing bounties and different campaign of many coins, yes i did hold my coins for a good profit but thats the bad decisions since my greediness attack me wanting to get more and more profit, and ended up not selling coins during that ath, and now i am still holding my coins until now lucky me that the coin i am holding is still survive during this long bear market.

i am waiting for the market to recover and hope to get good profit in the future

That's why we need to set stop loss and take profit area before enter the market, we can use it as limit. After reach we should cut loss any transactions, we call it disciplines not hold it for more time. Faith is not enough to support our dream about profit but calculation with money management really needed to safe our asset. I know about your experience but I don't know why sometimes I break it, lost asset yes.

Maybe you play all in. I suggest you share some of your assets, maybe you can use half assets for the long term, and the rest for daily trading. For the year this is not the time for holders but for traders.

use our bounties reward as trading instrument could give us more profit than just holding it.holding withoug doing anything only make our assets value decrease alot.personally if i receive bounty reward i will switch it into top 20 coins in coinsmarketcap so i could earn more profit later.

Well i think its a good information for me because i do the same thing just like you did. We never know the market will raise again. I usually sell tokens that i got from bounties. But if the project have potential in the future i will hold it for a while.

Well i think its a good information for me because i do the same thing just like you did. We never know the market will raise again. I usually sell tokens that i got from bounties. But if the project have potential in the future i will hold it for a while.

Right, if the project is a good and have potential with active dev team, I think it is a wise decision to hold on fot the bullrun because good project will give good return at the end of the day.

we have more than 2000 coins in cryptocurrency market.if our coins didnt give us profit why we shoul hold it.switch and pick one of them to earn profits.

hello, i wish you find this message well. This is not the time to give up ! we are already got fucked up by the market because we are new. What we can do now is study what we could've done better in this market. Study market cycles that will help you understand what we are in right now. For me personally if you wanna know what i will do, i will not sell till the bull run occurs because i treat that all of the money that i made on bounties are gone if my target will not be hit. Understand that this is a very risky market with a very high percentage of profits. Your money 100k$ can turn no nothing and your 1$ can turn to 100k$ .. That is the reality here.

If me i only wait at least ICO price to sell my bounty tokens. But, sometime we not see it happen especially for lately. Because i just know investor not really care about project and as long they get profit, they will sell their assets and change to new project.

I must say you are wrong. You don’t seem to understand the true essence of other legit token project you sell. Well if you just got them from bounties and at least you get a profit from it then its better already. But for others you invest and believe with you must wait at least for their promised and scheduled roadmap.

For me, I will sell to get profit but don't sell all of them. I will research to hold some coins/ tokens for long term to get more profit. I have seen some my friends who get rich by holding.

I'm just glad that I recalibrated last Q2 of 2018, sold almost all my crypto and moved to stable coins to protect value.
Hodling only works in a bull market. Now I can buy much more of what I sold

Never stop monitoring the coin because you don't know when a new pump may yet occur. Sometimes, a very dormant coin may give you a pump of over about 200+% that you never expected.

Mostly is not about the bull run I just will much prefer to keep any potential coin and discard the rest that will definitely help Even when those coins you are holding goes down the line you have atleast some kind of assurance that they will pickup when they are back But coin without better potentials are just better to sell-off than Holding Just determine how to Hodl and what to hodl
