Presently some cryptocurrency is accepted as means to exchange and as such can be used for settlement of debt. The most obvious of all, is Bitcoin which is accepted by various reputable companies like Microsoft, dell etc. The acceptability of cryptocurrency as a means of payment is on the rise and I believe that in few years time, there would be greater adoption of cryptocurrency as a means of payment.

as long as the government has not legalized crypto, we will not be able to use crypto for legitimate payments. so the first thing to do is to make a regulation about crypto.

Most of crypto has the final purpose for being used as main transaction in everywhere around the world.
The problem only how good their marketing strategy to promote their token in order to attract more investor.

Truly speaking its getting difficult day by day due to launch of many projects and altcoins. Everyone is using their own token and this reason I see at some extent will be show stopper for cryptocurrencies as use of payments.
Today I need for example some advertising on website and one project provides it with "X" coin and for my other requirement I go to another project which uses "Y" coin. So for me its not a friendly trade for all my requirements.
I think we need another universal cryptocurrency or  only few of them like Bitcoin, ETH or ripple.

The current state of crypto market can be compared with internet in late 90s. Internet wasn't a mainstream, as well as crypto today. I have no doubt that in a few years almost every electronic payment will be made with cryptocurrencies. Crypto is a true money for internet.

Yes, I agree with you, cryptocurrency is the future of the world and now everyone has to make the best possible use of it. In many places, cryptocurrency has been using as a way of payment mode.

I think the question here should have been, "Will cryptocurrencies ever be fully accepted as a means of payment? ". I had to rephrase the question because there are a number of businesses that have started accepting cryptocurrencies for payment of goods and services. I am of the opinion that cryptocurrencies have really come a long way in 10 years. Widespread adoption should not be spoken of as if it can happen in days, these processes actually do take time.

I personally cannot wait for that time when I will be able to leverage on all the advantages offered by cryptocurrencies including a cost effective payment system.

IMO, crypto currencies are a better option for payment than the traditional remittance system for fiats. Crypto is decentralised and the speed of transferring is faster than telegraphic transfers.

I don't think this is a question anymore. Reason being that, there are several cryptocurrencies at the moment already serving the function of payment systems or means of exchange notably Bitcoin and Ethereum. These currencies have already found wide use cases in the day to day operations and transactions in some economies of the world. The only thing standing against the adoption of cryptocurrency for businesses is time and I believe this will be a thing of the past soonest.

The era of new technology are everyday has have improvement,herein my country I can use bitcoin as payment through online using by local online wallet easy and convnience to use. The best coin use for payment method of course nothing doubt for that I chooose bitcoin.

I have seen an instance of a transaction, where someone paid for a building I'm currency and I was opportune to know a place where wears are sold in exchange for crypto currency.
I believe there are also other places where such is done.
In future, by the time there is more adoption, there will be more usage.
