2020 best year for ICO

I bet we will see better and baddass projects in 2020 simply because bitcoin halving is 2020 ,since what most devs care about is market condition and fear of dumping there tokens 2020 will be a better target for upcoming projects  and that doesn't mean there won't be scam projects too ,profits is all we care about isn't it?

ICO period is about to come to an end. Even some projects that are currently in place are already trying STO. If the STO is successful, the trust issue of the ICOs will be resolved. And serious projects will prefer STO.

2019 is the year which is better than 2018 and i think this is a good year for ICO.
this year is the preparation of the next year where i believe that the market will have the bullrun.

Your argument here seems obvious, it is just like saying we will have rainfall in Amazon area by July, we all know halving do have positive impact on the price of BTC, but to say BTC halving would impact the ICO market is a wrong assumption because for me i don't think I want to invest in just any project they way it was in 2017, which helps to drive the market up and most people lost their investment doing so. We have more than months to next halving and for me it is too early to start the debate now

Quite laughable. You should have known by now that there is nothing left for ICOs anymore. Have you taken time to check the ICO progress of all the ANN thread on Altcoins discussion of this forum? The poor performance will shock you. Several ICOs started since September 2018 and still haven't been able to achieve 2% of their token sales. Also go to Latoken ICOs page, the story remains the same. That gets to tell you that ICOs may not even survive this 2019. Everyone is bored with them.

Maybe halving will play positively on cryptocurrency as a whole, but it seems to me that the ICO will not affect it in any way!

I agree that 2020 year will have to surprise us because bitcoin halving will be and cryptocurrency will have to be regulated by governments, but we also want to see market growth in 2018 year, so we are waiting and hoping. But ICO`s will can die in 2018 year.

I'm also believing that bitcoin halving on 2020 will bring more demand but I don't think that it will be a year for ICOs.

2016-2017 was the years of ICOs. If there will be new projects by that year it will be backed up by a real company.

Well, you think that next year maybe the good year for ICO. Is there enough project the running and complete ICO process? I think we don't need any new one anymore. Or we need only amazing ones. Yes the new bull coming but I think it will be for major coins.

For me the best year for ICO is in 2017, Many projects are successful and until now their platform is still ongoing. For 2020 we don't know what ICO will be. Always hope the best.

Nah FUD as always, It is not guarantee that ICO is best for 2020. Who knows that the ICO will be change to STO. There were news in this forum that ICO will be replaced by STO (Security Token Offerings). Mind you this system is relatively good because it will be the new era for any crowdfunding  activities to which it wil secure the investors money through the law governing about the crowd funding activity.

I don't think 2020 has something to do with the betterment of cryptocurrency or vice versa. Crypto will and are getting matured and becoming a more stable investment option rather then turning someone overnight.

The best year for raising money from an ICO has probably already gone - I would say it was 2017. That was the height of ICO fever and anything that mentioned the word cryptocurrency has huge amounts of money thrown at it.
It is good I think that conditions now are more realistic, it means less chance of investors losing money.

you are wrong. 2017 was the one and only year that has been good to ICO scams and it will never be repeated again. by 2020 we will no longer even hear the name "ICO" anymore as they will have been dead for a long time.

it has nothing to do with "scam projects" but the fact that all ICOs have been useless and there has never been any reason for any of them to even exist let alone raise that much money. many people don't realize this yet but as time passes by and they see how dead all these tokens are they will have no choice to accept the reality.

It is true that Bitcoin halving in 2020 may affect the price and bull market could start. But I think that the biggest era of ICO is gone. Maybe still some ICOs will be created and have some success, but there will be less and less ICOs due to no investor interest.

ICO projects will become more popular by 2020 as by that time the market will recover in my opinion, but today there is a real project, but you need to be careful and try to minimize risks.
