How can you determine that 2020 will be the year of cryptocurrency if the whole market is a volatile in nature and very unpredictable because of the speculations. Considering that the market is still on the bearish period for more than a year. Most likely predictions will fail if we don't see any significant movement this 2019.

I also think so, the best crypto year is between 2010 to 2021. This year (2019) will be the time for some cryptocurrencies to recover and struggle for its basic price. not for bullrun. So far, the market doesn't show its recovery. They are still reaching the basic price in the down earth.

The best year for Ico will be its control and the ability to create a threshold and conditions for entry. Ie make it without fear and loss for investors.

But, I don´t agree with you. In my opinion there won´t be ICO´s as we know them in 2020.
Best years was 2016-2017, with best I mean profitable, when hard caps were reached in minutes.

I am certain that the bitcoin market will rise in the next couple of years but that does not mean that the ICO projects will have their best time, till now we have seen many projects and we have seen how these projects are at this time and majority of the projects are fake or end up being no good and with the increasing regulations from around the world i find it difficult to see many projects coming up in the next few years.

I think the year 2019 is very crucial in the long term future of cryptocurrencies. This is the year we expect regulations and guidelines to be put in place for ICOs and investors respectively.
If all these factors can be put in place, then the year 2020 and the years beyond will see a big reduction in scam projects and investors will be better protected when investing in ICOs.

i think it will no t be called an ICO that time because now some has changed already into STO security token offering where the project will be registered through government concern agency. This will ensure investors investment that will going to be implemented in a project will not be scammed by any team unless it will fail and a refund will be made.

Changing ICOs to STO will bring in more confidence for investors  and probably scam-free with the government interference however having of bitcoin in 2020 may not have any tangible impact on any ICO or STO because this is subject to how the existing ICOs had fared recalled many projects of ICO are already dead or dead on arrival with worthless tokens.

But it looks opposite, Raise funds in 2019( but project should be realistic and have end returns) and hold it till 2020 for exra profits.

Well, the growth of the crypto currency depends on the ICO market, I think if the market now continues to fall , and ico projects will also not be able to raise large funds, if we remember 2017, then almost every project collected a hardcap

Incase you haven't noticed, ICOs are losing traction in the market and I seriously doubt that at any single event in the future would suddenly return ICOs to it's former glory, not even the bitcoin halving.

I think that in 2020 there will be very few ICOs, but they will be sensible, because all investors already know  about scammers on the market.
