You may not be able to imagine if you didn’t watch yesterday’s match that Naseem Shah swung that he bowled. Once again, we will see that combo between Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi that is with one side Shaheen Shah and Muhammad Amir taking wickets while Naseem is putting pressure.

Also, Haris Rauf is putting some pressure and taking wickets. However in yesterday's match Naseem swung the ball into to leg side to the off side in the air and when a bounce was given then the ball again went to the leg side. Abrar Ahmed played very amazingly at yesterday’s match. We can relate to this after seeing Abrar Ahmed's performances. He picked two wickets in the same over. He did the 6th over in which he didn’t pick any wicket but in the second over that done by him which was the 8th over overall in the match and in the first ball of that over he picked the wicket.
Then after dot a ball he picked once more wicket at the same over. In that over, he gave out to MS Chapman and JDS Neesham, these wickets were such a huge loss for the New Zealand team and they were starting to hate Abrar Ahmed for sure.

Finally, once again, we have seen Babar Azam as an opener in an International match, and with him Saim Ayub came to bat in the first ball. He hit such a huge four, it was going to be six but the ball with the one bounce near the boundary, the ball went to the fours, but at the next ball, he was trying to hit once more boundary and the bat edge was touched which cause of the ball went to the hands of fielders and the fielder didn’t waste this chance to be out Saim Ayub (by Lister) and take his wicket in the early mode of the innings.

The point is that when they have to chase such a moderate total, there was no need to hit hard initially in the innings to lose early wickets. Baber Azam only made 14 runs and was out early in the innings too.

Shadab Khan also did very good bowling as you can see he took 2 wickets and in the first wicket there was the hand of Naseem Shah behind Shadab Khan which I will explain to you.

When Shadab Khan released the ball then the batsmen hit on the down leg side where Naseem Shah was present and the ball height was too low even if Naseem hit the dive still he could not pick up the catch but he was a genius and he presented in his location and lies down on that location which cause of direct ball to his hands and then Shadab Khan picked his first wicket.

The Pakistan bowling lineup was absolutely fired up against the match with New Zealand. Mohammed Amir was going to be the best Pakistani bowler if Pakistan could actually take care of him. Even at this age, he is producing such good performance. I believe he is still going to be in the T20 format. And he will be very useful in the upcoming World Cup. Pakistan team is improving. But if they did this from at least two years ago, if they played with the same squad from two years, I believe they actually had a chance to win the World Cup. I am expecting a good performance from them in the World Cup but I still don’t think they will be able to win the World Cup.

Here is another argument.

Dhoni is 42 yo wicketkeeper batsman. Let's say he comes as early as 4-5 down, so most of the time after 12 or 14 overs and in case of some collapse then maybe in between 8-12 overs. That's a period where spinners operate and the field is spread, you have to rotate the strike and even try for doubles (don't forget he's old and WK). Also, he used to be good against spinner but not anymore, as far as hitting 6s is concerned.

No, what I was trying to say is that only giving the last four over for him is probably not enough. In the last four overs, there are only 24 balls and even if the strike rotation is really good, he is going to get around 12 to 15 balls at that period of time. I think he should at least get somewhere near 25 balls to play at least. It will be better if he comes in around the end of 13th or 14th over. so he will be able to watch some balls before he goes all boom boom.

In the last match, I am pretty sure that he only played eight balls. What if he actually got at least 15 balls in total to play? He could have actually got 40+ on his own and that also in a very quick time. I know he is not that good anymore against spin because he is currently concentrating on finishing the innings. He is not that good because he doesn't bother about it that much. But I just think giving him a little more time in the middle is a risk worth taking. But in the last match, there was no fall of wicket between the 11th and the 16th over if I am not wrong. So I guess they could not do that anyway.

It was a typical script to give brain damage to all punters, at least spectators got a thriller out of it so no complaints. The way he's going, I think he wants KKR to drop him in upcoming matches so that he can warm a bench.
