Pakistan cricket is going through tough times now. A few days ago we saw the team fail to win the series against the second tier team from New Zealand. The series was tied at 2-2. Almost every Pakistani player's performance against New Zealand was erratic. So we thought maybe Pakistan can perform well against Ireland. But we don't see any improvement in Pakistan's performance.

To be honest I wasn't expecting such bad results from such a top class team like paksitan and things become more curious especially when they preparing thier self for such big tournament like ICC T20 World Cup, I think few of thier mistakes cost them that defeat first baber slow and steady start which isn't acceptable in T20 format, I am a big fan of baber and his class but here he can play a bit fast and aggressive like iftikania and Thier opponent opener Andrew Balbirnie does and the most important things is they should kick out the big and over weight guy Azam Khan because he is just absolutely waste and here we observe spinner were brutally punished instead of fast bowler from both side so for next matches they should pick more fast bowler and secondly took bowl first because I believe they will win while chasing and at the end congratulations to Ireland for thier first ever won in T20 format against paksitan

To prepare themselves for the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh team has organized this T20 series to play a five-match T20 series with Zimbabwe. In which the fourth T20 match of the series is being held today, Bangladesh has won the previous three matches against Zimbabwe and has a 3-0 lead in the series. That is a shame. I was thinking that Pakistan will win this series with 3-0. Because Pakistan squad was very strong as compare to the Ireland team. But they really disappointed me. Exactly. Pakistan performance was really disappointing. In my point of view the target was Ok but the performance of Pakistani bowlers was not admirable. Because just because of them Pakistan lost the match. They still need more practice. You mentioned Shadab Khan. He gave 54 runs to Ireland and he didn't collect a single wicket from them. He needs to practice more. And you are right Andy Balbirnie is the Hero of this match he played really well and he made 77 runs on 55 balls and he hit 12 boundaries including 10 Fours and 2 Sixers. What a crazy competitive season! With CSK losing by a decent margin against GT, RR and KKR have pretty much officially claimed their spots while SRH need one more win to claim their spot.

True and for this excellent performance Gujarat titans step up 2 rank their on the point table rank in this Indian premier league season. The Pakistan team has made too many slow starts and they can do much better but it was also good. Pakistan's middle order is getting stronger while its top order is getting low in performance and they have to maintain both things as we have seen when the people were talking about Pakistan’s middle order then they started to work on just the middle order. This started to underestimate the top order but hope that before the World Cup, they are fully prepared for that and take over after taking the World Cup from there.

Entertaining stuff from GT openers, this is what they have been missing all this season. Luck was also on GT's side today.

They kinda choked in last 5 overs though, couldn't get as many runs as they could have, Tewatia might have been better choice after Gill/Sai departure imo, 233 target is still chaseable, match hasn't completely slipped from CSK yet.

On irrelevant note, I used to watch English commentory but Hindi is much funnier.

Yeah, the scoring went down in the last 5 overs. Kudos to CSK's bowlers for nailing wide deliveries perfectly.

I mean most of those deliveries would have been given wide had Khan/Miller stopped chasing them.

Crisis mode is activated in CSK's camp, losing is alright but taking a hit on run rate could be dangerous. DC, RCB, Lucknow, or to some extent, SRH won't mind that.

Because the Pakistan team should have bowled more responsibly as the opposition Ireland team was taken very lightly by Pakistan due to which over confidence can be dangerous at times which is what happened with Pakistan. However, the way the Ireland team batted was really admirable and because of their excellent batting, they managed to defeat Pakistan by 5 wickets.
