T20 World Cup coming up! England won the recent one and I am expecting a new champion this time around. My random prediction before the tournament starts is that South Africa will the cup.

India has a great team too, but some of their players like Hardik, Arshdeep etc aren't in great form. They should have selected better players like Sandeep Sharma etc instead.

T20 world cup started on June 2 and the first game was played between the United states and Canada teams. I don't think South Africa have the capability to win this world cup. South Africa recently lost the 3 games series and whitewashed from west indies. I Think Australia, England, West Indies and Pakistan are strong teams in this World Cup. India is also a brilliant team and ability to win this World Cup under Rohit Sharma's captaincy.

I think Pakistan will win this World Cup because they have quality fast bowlers and the best players on the team. It is hard to predict any team before the start of the World Cup. This World Cup is interesting because it is categorized into four group stages and group A is very dangerous because Pakistan and India are in group A.

Canada vs Nepal

Nepal team has been in bad form for a long time.   I thought Nepal would do well in today's match against Canada.   But the team could not play well against Canada. Team Canada batted first and scored a massive total of 187.   I don't think Nepal will win by batting at such a big target.

Ravinderpal Singh played an excellent innings of 41 runs off just 17 balls. Nicholas Kirton also scored 52 runs.   Canada's batsmen batted better than I expected. On the other hand, Nepal's captain used his 7 bowlers, but none of them bowled well.
Nepal's two openers collected only 7 runs in 3 overs.   The Nepal team needs to collect 177 runs to win in 102 balls.

Nepal won the toss and decided to bowl first that a bad decision. Canada batted well and scored a huge total of 183 runs in a loss of 7 wickets in the first innings. Nepal current score is 81 runs in a loss of 4 wickets. Nepal needs 103 runs from 42 balls to win this match from Candia. it's very difficult for Nopal to chase down this huge total because they lost 4 quick wickets in low runs and they need more runs which seems like very difficult for now. Candia is now winning position and they will easily win this match if they locked one or two more wickets.

First of all, I want to say that in this whole IPL, the bowlers did not have anything for them. And everyone was coming into the field and swinging their bat and the ball went out of the ground. It almost didn’t matter how good the bowler is. it was about which team could hit more boundaries. I personally think that too many runs have been scored and it was actually kind of boring for me. But I personally like to see good bowling. So I might be biased in my opinion.

And of course, one big reason was the final not being competitive at all. We had more than 260 being scored multiple times in the IPL and in the final we had to see a team chase less than 120.

I definitely do not think that this was the best IPL. I don’t think this was even closest to the best IPL.

We can set aside personal liking and have to see the number of people engaging with the tournament. I remember 1 match where JIO hit numbers were like 56-ish crores, that's 560 Million and it's a freaking big number and it's just one match. 

Yeah, we had too many 200 runs but at the start, it was so much fun and I loved it thoroughly because the hitting was crazy. Ofc sometimes repetitive high scoring matches get boring but later in the season bowlers started dominating and we didn't see many big scorecards.

Nepal is going to lose today by a big margin.   Like you I thought Nepal team as favorite in this match.   But Nepal lost the rhythm badly.   None of the team's batsmen and bowlers are in good form. Shagar Dhakal and Gulshan Jha bowled well today among Nepalese bowlers. Besides, no other bowler could bowl well. Shagar conceded just 22 runs in 4 overs.

Batting at a big target, Nepal is batting badly from the beginning of the innings today. At the end of 16 overs, Nepal has lost 6 wickets. And collected only 96 runs.   If they want to win this match, Nepal must collect 88 runs from 24 balls.   Nepal has to collect 22 runs per over.

In case of t20 teams The Nepal Team is 6 steps ahead from the Canada team in the ranking of ICC T20. And I we predict aside of this then
we have to say that the Chances of wining is more in case of Nepal team.
But we have to also alert about the recent performance if we see the recent performance of Nepal team then we will find that in recent 5 matches they won only one match and on the others hand the canada team won four from five match so they are in good form now. So in my opinion in this match the wining chances of Canada is more than Nepal. I will stake some some few buck for Canada Today let's see what will gonna result. The match is start in few minutes.

Dhaliwal also made good runs but he played more balls and made less runs comparatively. That is burden to his team in the end . Now ,Canade is in the bad condition because all main players are in the pavilion and score should be 160 + if they want to win this match . Bohara is prominent bowler in the Nepal bowling side because he is the only person who took 2 wickets and he gave only 9 runs in 2 overs .

I am disappointed with the performance of South African players against West Indies.   I thought I would see a better performance from South Africa in the upcoming T20 World Cup

It's really disappointing for any south African team fan because they lose consecutive three matches of the series and not only lose the series but they were being whitewashed too by the underestimate west indies who were unfortunately not even qualified for ICC T20 World cup previous year too but at this year they really show Thier magic and strength right before the world which will really raised Thier confidence and also they have edge of home ground so things will be under control for them.  While looking at West indies recent performance show how huge Thier have developed thier both bowling and batting side through which they brutally crushed thier strong opponent. Anyway congratulations to West Indies for phenomenal victory and hope south Africa will recovered after getting his fully strength squad

I agree with you it isvery surprising and disappointing to see South Africa team which is talented and experienced struggling against West Indies in T20 format. Top batsmen as you mentioned like Ryan Rickelton Matthew Breetzke and Adriaan Mulder didn't play consistently well which hurt the team performance. South Africa needs to fix its batting problems quickly especially since World Cup is coming up. If they don't improve their batting it will be hard for them to make it to semi finals. Team leaders and coaches need to work with players to find and fix problems and the players need to take responsibility for their own performance. If they have right attitude and prepare well South Africa can come back stronger and do well in World Cup.

Yes you are right I also think that Nepal decision to bowl first was mistake. Their bowlers were struggling with form and lacked experience making it risky move. Nepal batting lineup although inconsistent had talented players who could have made difference if they had batted first. Unfortunately, setting Canada target of 184 was too much to handle and Canada skilled bowlers took advantage of Nepal vulnerabilities. Result was convincing 63 runs win for Canada with Dilon Heyliger being the standout bowler with 4 wickets in just 2.3 overs and it is great achievement. Nepal strategy backfired and they paid the price for it.

Also, we hardly had any dead rubber because 3-4 teams were contesting for the last 2 spots. At half stage, I was expecting more dead rubber contests.

The final felt a bit dull though because everyone was expecting fireworks from the batters but it was dominated by bowlers.

Missed super overs too, but I still felt that it was the best season so far thanks to crazy explosive records, batters and bowlers dominating evenly across the season, high octane entertainment consistently, most competitive season etc.

The final was underwhelming for sure, but 1 bad match doesn't cancel out all of the pros that I stated. Best season so far for me.

Nepal has got momentum few months ago and at that time they were giving tough time to any strong opponent but now it's look like they lose thier grip and now continuously losing critical matches against weak opponent and yesterday they have same story by facing weak or fair opponent and lose against them by huge margin of 60+ runs , I know they are cricketing rich nation and they way fans showed Thier craze and love it's difficult to accept such bad performance from his beloved team and player but it's reality currently they facing one of the worst form with a major mistake from thier mian players. As currently from score board thier middle order collapse cause the main reason of thier defeat.

Pakistan cricket team and England cricket team are playing T20 series against each other as a preparation before the World Cup. The first T20 match of the T20 series between these two teams was interrupted due to rain, after which Pakistan lost to England in the second T20 match.The third T20 match between them will be played today. Today's match is important for both the teams especially for Pakistan because if they lose today then England will be able to win the series. As the England team has already won the second T20 match and lead the series by one nil. We are waiting to see if Pakistan will be able to win against England today.

I felt play-offs and finale both were rather mediocre, RCB vs CSK was last game with hype and with emotional involvement, was happy that RCB won there but once RCB lost in play-offs, it was end of IPL for me and had very little emotional connection with rest of teams.

SRH's poor performance both in qualifier and in the finale made it completely feel dry, this team performed exact opposite end of season compared to their performance start of season. KKR won the trophy like walk in the park, there was no fight from SRH.

Yesterday warm up matches has been started of ICC Men's T20 World Cup Warm up Matches competition and many sqauds take part for playing this competition with also some international cricket squads like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, West indies, Australia, Afghanistan, Scotland, Ireland, Usa, Papua New Guinea, Oman, Canada Namibia, Nepal and Uganda. Yesterday total three warm up matches were played among different squads. In Canada against Nepal squad fight, Canada has begun this match first with batting inning and I surprised by the performance of Canada squad in batting inning I also know that against Sqaud Nepal is also not a weak squad, their sqaud also played many competitions and displayed high quality strength. But in yesterday match, Canada squad has collected 183 scores after playing 20 overs which seem very challenging and hard defeating target. Nepal squad just achieved 120 scores off 19.3 oners and whole members of their squad was wiped out. Nicholas Kirton made a amazing mid century off low deliveries and power hitting shots which was made this match more enjoyable. Dilon Heyliger bowler of Canada squad Also bowled impressively by picking up four batter wickets in just 2.3 overs. I think Canada squad has fully prepared for this competition and this competition is going to be quite interesting.

But I have a lot of hope for them. They will improvise as the tournament goes on, and this time a minimum of 4 matches are guaranteed for each team in the group phase.

Why is Lamichhane's visa being rejected again? I thought the court had acquitted him or was it because he was on the radar of Interpol a few years back due to his hideout and overstay in the US?

I hope they make a strong statement in this WC, maybe an upset team or two. It would be some fun for sure.

I was not expecting that kind of  match. I was expecting, Nepal team will handle the pressure and they will win this match . But in last match ,the Canadian team moral was very high and they gave an excellent target of 184 runs and then they defend very well and in the end, they won the match by 63 runs. Nepal seven batsmans can't enter in double figures  and the highest run maker was Malla who made 37 runs in 30 balls and the bowling performance of Nepal team was also poor. In the other hand , Canadian team batters played well , especially Kirton who made 50 for his country and R. Singh also played good in the death overs and he made 41 runs in 17 balls.
