Today is our Eid day and on this Eid day I enjoyed the game of Bangladesh happily and this bitter experience is that Bangladesh will perform so badly in today's match that I could not imagine. Only Shakib Al Hasan is the top scorer in today's match with 17 runs. It was so difficult to bat in Bangladesh's innings that they were all out for 106 runs. Bangladesh will most likely lose in today's match if the opponent can build an important partnership then definitely Bangladesh will lose. Zakir Ali of Bangladesh scored only 12 runs in 26 balls after batting in Test style, so why did he need to bat in Test style like this? Today's match looks like Bangladesh is giving Nepal a batting practice which is a village cricket. Never expected to see such a match on our happy day.

I think the Netherlands team can still qualify and the Bangladesh team will step down because today is the match of Sri Lanka vs the Netherlands which must win by the Netherlands then they can qualify for the Super 8s, but for this they have to give loss to Sri Lankan team with a good run rate.

England managed to qualify for the Super 8 after Scotland missed a chance against Australia today. Although the performance was good enough in today's match and they collected runs well, but unfortunately they did not qualify. Although the Scotland team had a good start and put a lot of pressure on Australia at first, but later on the lead in the last period, the Australian team was much more excited. Australia batted brilliantly to meet the target of 180 runs and won by 5 wickets with 186 runs. Scotland team lost in this match and couldn't go to Super 8, they had to leave and the dream was broken.
However the qualifying teams in Super8 Group 2 are Australia, England, USA, West Indies, they qualified due to their great performances.

Nice, after doing bad performances in this World Cup, by chance England stepped up instead of stepping down and made their place into the top 2 teams in their group and now they will qualify into the Super 8s with Australia.

From B group, we have two super 8s teams and those are England and Australia. I think there was no chance for them to qualify and Scotland deserves to come in because as they have done too much effort in this World Cup but at the end, they would not qualify then it seems like a disappointment for them. Scotland and England both teams points were same but it was not in luck for Scotland.

This time I think at the start of this World Cup, we underestimated the small teams and this time many teams were out of the tournament those must have to come in as there is the biggest example of Pakistan, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

Also, there was England too near the verge of elimination but by chance, they still managed to qualify for the Super 8s as we have seen. Don’t know what type of problem with teams that came here, they cannot play well and lose the matches very close, and they must have to win this but sadly this World Cup is very unique. I think giving a chance to play with 20 teams in this World Cup format became tough for them.

Going to the Super 8s and without New Zealand and Pakistan, it will feel like a vacuum but anyways that is how it is.

So far this T20 world cup is nothing like T20, barring couple matches all scores have been below par, before someone argues about American pitches, matches are being played in West Indies as well.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has given target of 107 to Nepal, and Nepal as been slogging so far as they lose 3 wickets for 20 runs at 5 overs, wonder how hard is it to take singles and hit a boundary on good ball?

Unfortunately SriLankan team is now out from the World Cup and not qualifying for the Super 8 round but today they performed well and they made I think ATH of this World Cup they gave a target of 202 runs to Netherlands. They lost only 6 wickets. Charith Asalanka and Kusal Mendis was good in batting they both made 46,46 runs. Overall we can see they showed a great team work.
And now the Netherlands is playing their turn. And they already played three overs and they made only 35 runs. And they didn't lose any wicket yet. The target is quite high so I don't think so Netherlands will chase the target. They need 167 runs on 101 balls. Which is looking much difficult. So let's see what the Netherlands will do.?

Things were going well with Nepal with Airee and Mala on crease despite early fall of wickets, thought they would easily win the game at one point but once Mala fell and then Mustafizur with his 19th over (maiden + Airee' wicket) destroyed all hopes for Nepal fans.

Nepal could have easily won the game had they stayed with singles and doubles but they made things complicated for themselves and eventually lost.

They played really well against the Dutch who I thought would win, but ended up failing miserably. Both Netherlands and Ireland had terrible campaigns in this particular T20 World Cup tournament.

Teams like Scotland, USA etc fared way, way better in comparison though USA turned out to be the only small team to qualify for the super 8.

Finally the Bangladesh team got a chance to play in the Super Eight and they put in enough effort due to which they succeeded. I saw the performance of Bangladesh at the beginning of today's match, I thought they might lose today's match to Nepal. But the Nepal team failed to fulfill this target of 106 runs due to which the Bangladesh team easily won the match and got the opportunity to play in the Super Eight. Although there was a chance of Nepal winning this match today, Bangladesh had a good bowling performance due to which they were able to put pressure on Nepal in the match and Bangladesh team won. However, the Bangladesh team may not have a chance to win against the teams they will play in the next round. Although Super 8 Group-1 is strong in each team, it is doubtful whether Bangladesh will be able to cope with these teams. And in today's match Bangladesh team has qualified for the next round so it is very happy, and today on this Eid day it is very happy for us.

In recent match of ICC men World Cup competition Sri Lanka against Netherlands squad, Sri Lanka sqaud performance in today match was really superb and this performance was needed in previous matches but now this was not useful because two squad of this group already qualified and this was just a formality match and almost just few more matches behind for play of ICC Men T20 World cup and before playing Super Eight Round. Yes, its an unbeatable performance was displayed by Sri Lanka squad in against match to Netherlands sqaud. According to my knowledge it was the first victory of Sri linka squad in world cup after lossing all games but its was a great comeback and courageful victory with good 83 Runs and Sri linka squad increases ranking to number 3 number and but their possibility to reach on Super Eight was 0%. I agreed Sri Linka is out of World cup race by doing bad performances in initial matches of the tournament but they have top spin bowling attach in the world. Charith Asalanka displayed power hitting inning and my favourite player in this squad and his playing cricket is admirable for any team.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mostafizur Rahman are the most important behind Bangladesh team's victory today. As both of them put in the best bowling performance, Nepal team was completely disappointed as Mostafizur Rahman took the middle in the 19th over. Immediately in the 20th over, Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets to defeat the Nepal team, so the Bangladesh team won this match and participated in the qualifiers due to their good run rate. 
The Nepal team performed well in the beginning but later on became very weak due to the fall of wickets, but the tiger players of the Bangladesh team gained more confidence as they picked up wickets.

However, now the entire journey of Pakistan in this World Cup has been finished and today they would return to their country along with other teams who fail to qualify. Now, we have matches of the Super 8s teams and from group A we have the United States of America and India too. Now, let’s see what will they do in the Super 8s. I think they will do something good here too and I wish the United States of America would give tough time to the teams in the Super 8s too.

These are the key players, but yes, he took the decision to do this, so let’s see what he will do. IMO, Pakistan team is good. All they need is to do is two things: 1) They need a proper leader who can guide them, I don't find Babar a worthy captain and neither Shahin, now don't get me wrong, it's just what I feel. 2) Fielding: it's obvious Pakistan team needs to improve their fielding yet there has been no improvements.

The day they improve on these two things then Pakistan will be top of league team, and then may be then their encounters against India will be interesting to watch.

The players that Mohsin Naqvi mentioned are the most important players and also at yesterday’s match, if these players had not taken place then for sure the Pakistan team would have lost this match.

It is good to give a chance to new players but not like this. It is such a shocking decision by Mohsin Naqvi. As he said about Shaheen Shah so if he would not play then for sure no one can take quick wickets in the early overs and also he is the man of the match. I think he got mad to replace the all team.

Sri lanka team played well in his last match of t20 world cup 2024 and end their campaign with maiden win against Netherlands. I think if sri lanka team won his match against Bangladesh then they could have been qualified for super eight but Bangladesh team played outstanding cricket in this world cup and make their place in super eight Sri lanka team set a huge target of 201 runs to Netherlands and they did defended it easily. excellent bowling by sri lanka team Nuwan thushara takes three wickets sri lankan bowlers dominated on Netherlands team and clinched their first victory in t20 world cup by 83 runs.
