Netherlands had chances to win yesterday but in the end Canada won by 8 runs. Canada batted first and set a target of 133 runs. The target of 133 runs in the T20 format is not a big target, it was easy to chase the target if you bat patiently. But the Netherlands batsmen could not perform well.

I think the run out of Noah Croes was the turning point in this match as if he was on the crease he could have hit fours or sixes right at the end when it was needed.

It's good but only when it's restricted to white ball cricket, especially useless bilateral. White ball bilateral series has lost its relevance so it works out well. Boards get the much needed money and they also test their new players.

Having said that, not that long ago Proteas sent their B Test team to New Zealand because their schedule clashed with the SA20 so the jury is still out as far as their intentions are concerned (in the context of neglecting the Test format).

I agree with you that the main problem with these teams is the erratic performance of the players. This is why teams cannot consistently perform well. Most of the players in the squad are inexperienced. However, if the series against different teams is organized regularly, the players of the team will gradually become experienced. And we will see better performance from them in future.

South Africa team unlucky. I think so. For a long time we have been witnessing poor and erratic performances from South African players. This group is quite strong. Lots of talented players in the squad. However, the team's overall performance has been poor.

South Africa failed to win the first match against the West Indies despite being given a decent target. Even the West Indies team managed to win the match very easily. However, in the second match I had high expectations from the South African players. The West Indies team gave a target of 180 runs. South Africa got off to a fantastic start. South Africa collected 85 runs in 7 overs. The team failed to collect only 95 runs in the remaining 13 overs. South Africa even lost the match by 30 runs. Despite winning the Test series, South Africa's performance in the T20 series has been disappointing.

I am not going to make any bet in this series, I was fu*ked up by the South African team's dumbest performance.
The scenario I found in the past two match is if the top order batters of the South African team make good performance the lower order of them make dumbest performance on that match on the others hand when the lower order batters did good at the batting then the top order will fail to do performance.

And rest of the bowlers performance I don't see any interesting performance from the West indies team I don't know about the third match can be on the ground because the weather is not good the match delayed.

They scored 168-6 runs and set the target for their opponent.. Saad Bin Zafar got 3 wickets alone. Besides Canada's starting wasn't good enough. 1st wicket gone at 0 runs. Top ordered players didn't perform well as expected and waste many balls without doing runs..Although Dilpreet Bajwa(56), Shreyas Movva(37) did decent amount of runs. Even rest of players also gave their effort and they scored 148-7 runs which was 20 runs less than thr Target runs. Canada played well, even they had wickets enough but lower Strike rates made them loss the match against USA

There seems to be some sort of a competition between Karun Nair or Mysore Warriors and Abhinav Manohar of Shivamogga Lions for the title of top run scorer in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. At this point, Manohar is leading Nair by a thin margin (448 runs vs 428 runs). But then, we have plenty of matches remain and there is a chance that Nair may overtake Manohar in the next few days. That said, Shivamogga has almost zero chances of qualifying for the knockout phase, while Mysore has almost confirmed their slot in the playoffs.

If the South African team can win the last third T20 then the match will definitely end in 2-1, if the South African team can't win then it will be 3-0.  But I think the biggest challenge for the South African team in this match is that the players who have always performed well in bowling and batting but against the West Indies team are doing poorly.

As if South Africa's luck is not on their side in the T20I match, the South African team could not win despite trying hard in the first two matches.  In the second T20 match too, they had a chance to reply but were unable to do so due to the fall of additional wickets despite the rain delaying the match for a long time. But the West Indies team showed their heroics by winning three consecutive T20I matches, although they performed quite aggressively in these matches.

Nicholas pooran, Shai hope, Hetmyer performed well enough, they played enough role to win this match today. However, the South African team's players could not create pressure in these three matches in terms of bowling, which is the biggest weakness of the South African team.
