Nearly two and half hundred runs goal is scary for twenty over match and it will take something special from both the batters and bowlers to achieve such a score. With pair of top order players playing their part so beautifully, making back to back half centuries at fast pace, the entire game structure is set.
I'm quite honest, I believe the intensity of the chase is very difficult to keep up from the first over with an untested batting line up and puts much of mental pressure. Asia Pacific Cricket Champions Trophy 2026 competition is featuring four squads includes Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Singapore. Recent match of this competition was finished amomg Singapore and Thailand. Singapore squad was begun this match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 187 scores after playing 20 overs inning. Uzbekistan disappointed performance while chasing down a 248 runs total they only managed to score 128 runs in a lost of 5 wickets. Kavin Chaddha batting performance is wonderful scoring a well deserved half century and added important 75 runs from just 39 balls to assist Uzbekistan reach near to 250 runs. The target set by Scotland was insufficient, and they struggled a lot against the New Zealand bowlers, as shown by the performance of Fraser and the other players. If Carter hadn't scored well, they would have only set a target of 70 runs. However, one thing I noticed is that the Scotland team's performance was poor; the New Zealand bowlers were not dangerous. If Carter could score against them, then why couldn't the others? They may not have been ready, and that's why they collapsed. On the other hand, the New Zealand team also faced challenges but managed to handle the situation well and won the match.

It was a dramatic began from England side, because Amy Jones was struck up on duck. Right after Danni Wyatt was caught up on 7 runs. Scotland was happy at this moment but Sophia Dunkley was played fighting knock and nominated as Player of the Match. Scotland were too good in fielding , through collective team efforts they build pressure on the ground. While in reply Scotland Women did good effort. Starting phase was strong but from overs eighth team lost their momentum. Due to quick wickets falls batsman were reluctant for hitting high scores. So team collapsed on 162 runs. Scotland players put the effort till the last ball of the game but lost with big gap.

Not sure about Pant in DC or more like in IPL itself...oh wait or more like in T20 cricket itself but Kuldeep looks like he has went where he should be. I don't know man, I like it when players play for their home franchise. Who do ya'll think will be captain for LSG now? This match was easy because of the lack of hard work and good effort from both of them and it was easy for the opposing team to victory. Because the bowling of New Zealand Women was enough good and tough, due to which they got an easy target which made their victory successful and their batsmen achieved this target with hard work and efforts and victory. If the batsmen of Scotland Women had not played carelessly and had made the target strong, their target would have been good than 131. New Zealand Women are a strong team due to which this target was not strong for them, so they have won it in 18 overs and Scotland Women did not bowl hard on it, so the batsmen of New Zealand Women did not play carelessly. If Scotland Women had made a good effort in the target, they could have controlled New Zealand Women in bowling.

Margin of the win doesn't surprise me. Uzbekistan is a relatively new team, and during these initial phases we can expect them to suffer heavy defeats every now and then. What concerns me is the growing number of foreigners being included in these teams. Both these teams used to be almost 100% native just two years ago. But now they are recruiting a growing number of foreigners in their squad. At the moment, 4 out of the 11 players in the Uzbek team were foreigners, and in case of Indonesia it as 3 out of 11. The numbers may seem low, but these players have a disproportionate impact due to their first class experience, and as a result the native players get sidelined.

South Africa quick Nandre Burger is out of MLC 2026 after a recurrence of a stress reaction in his back.

Burger, part of Texas Super Kings, will leave the tournament for a "prolonged period of rest and rehabilitation" after scans revealed a pre-existing stress reaction, the team said in a statement.

In ECB Women's One-Day Cup series, There is not much difference in ranking of both teams. DUR-W team rank is 3 rd with 11 games played, out of which they have won 5 and lost 5. On other hand, SUR-W team rank is 4 th and has played 10 games winning 5 and losing 5. Yesterday 45 th game of this series was played between SUR-W and DUR-W team and held at Riverside Ground. SUR-W team won toss and they selected batting first and gave bowling opportunity to DUR-W team. SUR-W team set very small target 179 runs in 50 overs by losing all wickets. Katie bowler helped alot team to win this game and this bowler dismissed 4 wickets in 8 overs and gave 31 runs. Mady bowler also bowled out 3 wickets of SUR-W team and gave 23 runs. DUR-W team chased down all runs easily and won game by big margin 6 wickets and 80 balls remaining. Hollie captain of team performed very brilliant and made 76 runs 97 balls and hitted seven 4s. Congratulations DUR-W team won this easy and one side game.
