In the 4th T20 match India team could not perform well performance. If we look at team players then they have experienced and well performer players, but in this match they could not show well performance. In starting they lost very important and dangerous wickets. So due to wickets losing they could not utilise power play effectively. So by playing first they scored just 158 runs and lost 7 wickets. In whole team only one player scored highest runs. Shreyas played outstanding inning and these runs took up near the total of 158. But unfortunately other players could not participate well in batting side.
On the other hand England team had great start game and they dismissed very dangerous players so here they took advantage and gave tough time to opponent team. I was afraid that India might lose this series too and my guess turned out to be absolutely correct.A five match series was going on between England and India in which the first match did not yield any result and the remaining three matches were won by the England team one sidedly and India could not do anything.India is not proving itself strong. Everyone is focusing on the fact that the batsmen are not performing well against the England pacers on bouncy wickets. But what everyone is overlooking is the poor performance from the bowlers. The team selection itslef is illogical, with 3 spinners selected in the final XI. I appreciate the selectors to drop non-performer Sanju Samson despite massive bullying by his fans in social media and outside. But time has come for them to show some spine, by dropping the non-performing bowlers (Prasidh Krishna, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar).

This aggressive duo just started and sample size is of just 2 matches so it'd be pretty bad to write them off this early.

They have also failed in the 3rd match even though they were batting with patience yesterday. Both of them are capable of playing great innings, but it looks like they are unable to do well by being under pressure.

Yes, if they fail for couple of series then tactical decision/strategy could be tweaked and see where things are going wrong or if they need to restrain themselves a bit and imo pairing such aggressive duo at top is blessing and not curse despite couple of failures, just give them long rope and allow them to fail completely.

I think a few matches are enough to make little changes in the top order instead of waiting for a few series. India is going through a bad losing journey in this format despite having a great batting lineup. Maybe some rotation in the batting line-up may help them to do better. I prefer an aggressive batsman and a responsible batsman as an opening duo in T20 format.

We have possibly 2 years of timeline before next t-20 wc kicks in, that's why trying out 2-3 series for one set of combination shouldn't be bad thing despite results, for top 3 position including opening india has atleast 3-4 main guys in competition ( Abhi, vaibhav, jaiswal and Sanju) other than that they have likes of gill, sai, rutu etc so fair amount of time to try every guy imo.

Same goes for other batting position, win-loss matters but these are the matches you have to take your risk with players and do all sorts of experiments. After winning wc they lost 5 t-20 on trot but there's no need for panic button just yet. Yeah if they are on 8-10 losing streak then everyone should criticise and ask questions.

Vaibhav has shown sign of tremendous talent so won't mind if they give him atleast 10 back to back matches. Abhi is doing alright.

He's classy and destructive batter when he's on song and more importantly when he's not under pressure but people forget that KL alone was the real reason management done with the accumulator at the top. He played many first maiden overs in T-20 as an opener, even in WC, back then it was too depressing to watch.

Adjusting to conditions is extremely important and sometimes it happens, you lose and thing looks bad but imo it's not a doomsday scenario in batting department, just yet. Jury is still out on Iyer's captaincy gig

India not having a good time touring Ireland and the UK. First they lost to Ireland by 2-0 in T20 series and now they are at verge of 4-0 in five match series against English team. India must do something out of the box to break there losing streak in their current tour of Ireland and UK.
