Everyone is focusing on the fact that the batsmen are not performing well against the England pacers on bouncy wickets. But what everyone is overlooking is the poor performance from the bowlers. The team selection itslef is illogical, with 3 spinners selected in the final XI. I appreciate the selectors to drop non-performer Sanju Samson despite massive bullying by his fans in social media and outside. But time has come for them to show some spine, by dropping the non-performing bowlers (Prasidh Krishna, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar).

India not having a good time touring Ireland and the UK. First they lost to Ireland by 2-0 in T20 series and now they are at verge of 4-0 in five match series against English team. This is first time India has lost 5 consecutive T20I matches and loss today will also swipe India's top position in ICC T20 ranking. India must do something out of the box to break there losing streak in their current tour of Ireland and UK. India losing not only because of their bad batting but also because of their terrible bowling.

Iyer 80 not out was impressive, but really had nothing to do with it, he was completely alone. And this is now the second series defeat in a row.
@Sithara007 note that there were no three spinners in the XI is correct. Archer and Tongue just cannot create space and keep feeding the top order and India are sticking to options that are anything but English. Fifth T20I in Southampton on Sunday is basically meaningless match unless Indians have 11 brand new players who can come out and do fantastic job in one night.

India needed some magic from their bowling but they failed to deliver. England team won this game by 9 wickets and 37 balls margin. Shreyas single batsman performed outstanding and made 80 runs in 49 balls and hitted four 4s and five 6s but his effort was not enough to beat. Harry got player of game award because his batting contribution was helpful and scored 79 runs in 35 balls and hitted eight 4s and four 6s. Phil also remained not out in full game and opened line strongly and scored 59 runs in 42 balls and hitted nine 4s and one 6s.

I don't understand what is the point of dropping Vaibhav Suryavanshi and bringing Sanju in his place, that just destroy his confidence to an extent and this is already a done series so making a change that affects a player who just made the debut for the nation isn't a great decision either.Also they brought an extra bowler by compromising Washi's position.

Washi his favourite after Rana but ngl washi as t-20 player looks wasted to me. Can't bowl his 4 over quota and hardly get to play 5-7 balls, you can't justify his place as an all-rounder like this. Idk if he's working on his bowling or not.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Samson are both very good players. We cannot call Samson a bad player. He is very experienced. So I would not call adding Samson to the squad a bad decision.
But even then, it does not seem like India will be able to take much advantage in this match either. The bowlers have completely failed to bowl in a controlled manner. England lost the wicket of Phil Salt in the second over. But after 10 overs, England scored 111 runs. Harry Brook scored 50 runs off 19 balls and remained unbeaten.

Some important batsmen of India are not included due to which the target is not becoming so strong and their toughness in bowling was also not included due to which India is losing in all these matches. On the other hand, the England team has victory all these matches with a lot of hard work and effort. England is batting enough well in today's match also. If they give a target of 180, then it will be tough for India to victory this match too.

I am shocked after watching today's match and the performance of Indian bowlers and fielders because they were playing the worst cricket ever with a lost series and a 6-match losing streak.
It is not Indian cricket's standard, especially in T20, because they were heading for an invincible team in this format, but it's down and out. For me, poor selection is the biggest problem right now. They needed to have some professional approach, but it's not working.
They are having personal egos and some links, which are always the biggest threat to any team at the top level. India has not lost against Scotland; they lost the series against Ireland by 2-0 and now against England by 4-0. This is really a humiliating defeat with the worst results in all matches.

Defeat after defeat gives them trauma because now they are not able to have any strategy. Things are at their lowest level; the coach and management are badly down in confidence today after watching their bowling and fielding. I am shocked because they are not near Team India, which is pride of us.

Gauti is losing his mind and doing things that are going to be problematic for him and the rest of his career with Team India. India: A few individual performances are not going to be remembered after this washout against Ireland and England.

For me, it's the worst performance from them in the last few years. Today English players punish like they were playing against Gali cricket bowlers.

Man, you have a great cricketing mind. I really appreciate your observation about the Indian cricket system because mostly people are crying without any good material.
They have nothing about cricket, just making noise after losing some bucks, but Indian cricket is now on another level with a long-term strategy. These losses will make ways for fighting and having spots in the team, and they will be able to make this team at the top.
Two years are enough for having success in the ICC World Cup others are just experimental jobs that will not be remembered when this team wins another title.
