Someone above predicted Lyon - Barcelona 2:2.

I did. I'm basing my prediction on the two games Lyon played against City in the qualifying round (and a bit on their recent win against PSG). They were clearly the better team ! And that wasn't against a weak City team who did play at 100%, needing the win.
Lyon is a young talented team, a bit like Monaco was two years ago. A player like Ndombele will soon be a star. Fekir and Depay are pretty good and could start in a few top european teams. Others like Mendy or Aouar also have a bright future in front of them. I'm not saying they'll beat Barca but I think they'll hold their own.

Not sure about the correct score prediction and it looks like the away team will be the winner for my temporary prediction.
Will it be crazy to bet ML - Barcelona, Bayern, Juve, Man.City.

It won't be crazy unless you place a huge amount on the bet, IMO.



I think Man City and Barcelona will win with a - 1.5 Handicap, While Liverpool will have my backing on ML and Juventus would be a draw for me.

I think Juventus is in great form even though they lost their last match in the Champions League with Young Boys. The old record against Atletico Madrid is not good as well 0 - 0 and 0 - 1 lose against them. However based on the recent performance I would go with Juventus. My prediction for Juventus is a 1 - 2. 🙂

In home match Atletico always scored at-least 1 goal.

Base on the previous record Barcelona usually win their match against Lyon and I predicted Bayern to win because this will be a pay back time for their last year match against Liverpool. Below are my prediction though.


Lyon 0 - 2 Barcelona
Liverpool 1 - 2 Bayern
Atlético 1 - 0 Juve
Schalke 1 - 2 Man City

Seriously ? Any team Cristiano Ronaldo is on is the favorites no matter where he plays however Juventus also became bigger and bigger with the recent years transfers. Look at Dybala and so forth they are really good. Madrid side is not bad at all but even with a stronger midfield they defense can't handle the offensive power of Juventus.

I feel like this game will be one of the times where one team plays most of the time and holds the ball constantly but the other team finds one or two chances and score them and win. It happens all the time, one team with 60%+ possession and 9 shots on goal and so forth while other has 30% or so possession with 2 shots but the team with 2 shots win, this will be like that. Juventus just has so much good players going forward its almost impossible for anyone to keep them from scoring.

Most of The UEFA campions league games are just getting boring since they repeat feature almost every season. We all know Barcelona is going to win Lyon due to previous record and Barca recent form. Don't think I'm going to watch that match but I love rooting for the underdogs so this season I go for a win for Lyon maybe this will be the time they finally win Barca and home advantage might be in their favour so I predict 3-2 in favor of Lyon.

The OneHash one is very tempting. After reading your post I checked with PaddyPower and there they have 10/11. The odd for Bayern is 13/5 which means if an arbitrage betting will bring good profit assuming the match is not a draw.

Very interesting.

I got 1 - 2 for Barca at our CL betting pool, but made a bet for them -1 at 2.33.  Seems like a fair bet considering that they always reach the KO stages every year and go thru.  The pressure's on Lyon imo.

My predictions are rather simple and passionate rather than objective tonight. Reds and Barca to secure hard-fought victories, so they form the basis of my parlay. That Lyon underdog bet does look tempting, but until it climbs above 5/1, I've a feeling Suarez is due a Champions League brace tonight.

I am also thinking that Liverpool vs Byern will be a high scoring match. Bayern will try to attack and that will cause them to digest some goals. For sure we all do not know until we see the final ending. Let's see how it goes. I am up to watch the Match.

Fresh news are about Naymar who will not play in coming games because of injury

PSG announced today he'll be out for 10 weeks. He won't get surgery to his foot.

That's a bad news for them, and Manchester United will fancy their chances of qualifying, PSG still do have players than can cause Man Utd big problems if they are fit for the fixtures.

It might increase their chances but not as much as you think, I don't think they can catch up with the two goals PSG have in their first match. The next game will be held at PSG's home so the advantage is on them playing on their match. Neymar didn't even play on their first match so I don't it would make any difference at all, right now Mbappe is their main man and as long as he is on the team they can still repeat what they have done on the first match.
