Lol, That's what you get after 11 matches undefeated and winning 10 along the line, I however doubt PSG have such guts for now they've been struggling themselves as well.

Do you see that PSG burn Man Utd as LFC said despite the absent of their key player and this is what make football hard to predict. However, no club should be underrated because good things come from the doors ones dont know it left open.

Guys Fist first 15 minutes Ajax played very well. Now seems like Real is taking over the game. I hope they do take the control 🙂

Finally the game has settled after a very tense opening minutes with Ajax players all over the field and restricting Real Madrid to their own half, they could have deservedly scored a goal with such a huge pressure though.

They are really bringing it up close to Real Madrid's level in all aspects of the game and they look so confident on the ball, You can hardly tell this is a relatively young squad, They looked to have been playing at this level for years, I hope Madrid dictate the game in 2nd half though.

Tottenham just took the lead in the other match, with a goal from Son. Do you think they can see the lead through ?

In the first half:

The review (drama, some are saying it was a fair call some are saying it was not. It was 50/50 gray call to cancel the goal) just saved Real or first half could be 1 - 0 for Ajax.

Real was not playing their own game unfortunately. Ajax were looking better, they played the entire first half and dominated it. The Belgium keeper was doing outstanding job though.

In Tottenham match Dortmund can score a goal in anytime. They are playing well.

Amazing performance by Tottenham. If first half was equal more or less, second half was absolutely one-sided. It was one of the best matches of Tottenham this season. It was difficult to expect for such result before game, but now we can say that Spurs are 95% in next round.
Ajax - Real. Very interesting game, Real lreached victory without playing their best football. Referee decision to cancel Ajax goal was very questionable. Yes, Tadic was in offside, but did he really participated in attack? And Ajax wasted so many lethal moments to score... They played great football, but it's not enough to win or reach draw at least.

I feel sorry for Ajax too, Except for the fact that I placed a bet against them. They really didn't deserve to lose the match and were the better side overall, but it is football and results can be undeserving at times.


I think Tottenham can pat themselves on the back for tonight perfomance, That result should nothing but secure a place in the quarter finals for them.

Spurs surely missed Kane and Alli tonight LOL 3-0! I don't think even the most optimistic Tottenham could've expected such scoreline. I think this is over, there's no way Dortmund can come back from this...Good run, though.

About Ajax vs Real Madrid...Controversy aside, we didn't deserve to win that game, sucks for Ajax because they had so many chances but their players simply aren't clinical enough. Ramos was MOTM, we're gonna miss him in the 2nd leg.

Ajax still stand a chance of qualifying, If they can pull such a performance again at the Santiago Bernabeu their only undoing is 2 away goals which Madrid currently have as an added advantage, with Ramos missing that'd mean a weaker defence line and Ramos is a great leader that really shows up on the big occasions.

Surprise from Spurs, I just didn't think Spurs could win the match with 3 goals without a goal from Dortmund. With this 3-0 defeat I think Dortmund won't be able to do much in the 2nd leg, not only that even I feel the team that has won the match in the 1st leg this time, it seems that it will certainly continue to the next round, because result of a draw or just defeat only 1 goal in the 2nd leg later they can still continue to go forward.

I’m surprised Real Madrid was able to pull of a victory, infact I strongly feel Ajax deserved the victory but Var intervention caused them the victory. I am sure Ajax will go with more confidence in the next leg, and will try to beat Real Madrid as they were the superior team out of the two. I feel that will be a huge advantage to Ajax, as Ramos is a leader on the pitch and he’ll be sorely missed by Madrid.

Ajax lost because the referee always impact the game up to a certain point. There were a lot of polemics about how Real Madrid won yesterday. It was needed for Real Madrid to be supported as in the returning leg they will win with a big goal margin against Ajax.

Looking at last night's match statistics, Tottenham vs Dortmund, I think anything still can happen. Dortmund doesn't play badly. They just aren't lucky. Both teams have the same number of shots on targets and ball possession is almost balanced. Dortmund will play at home in the second leg and of course their chances are still there even though it looks very small.

Very good performance from Tottenham but very very poor from Dortmund. The Spurs deserves the qualification to the next stage from the great performance they had in the first match. This team needs to chase a big title like Champions League.
Real once again played mediocrely but they got the result. I think they will have an easy night at Bernabeu in the next game.

The VAR decision in the Real match yesterday was controversial but I don't think it was wrong. And I am saying that as a non-Real fan. Tadic was in a slight offside position and he was preventing the goal keeper from getting to the ball. Would the keeper have reached the ball without the Ajax player in his way? It is hard to say but referees can't speculate in that way. Goal keepers always have the referees protection in the 5 meter area whenever there is a contact.
Just bad luck for Ajax.

Ajax did well today and I don't think anything could be better than a 1 goal lead in the first leg. The problem is the 2nd game will happen in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium which is the home arena for Real Madrid, so managing up 2 goals for a win seems to be a hard task for the team. Home games like this would really be an advantage for teams who wants to secure a victory, especially for Madrid who is really strong in their home.
