I watched it until the last minute and in my opinion the Liverpool vs Bayern match was very balanced and ended scoreless, and there were many opportunities for Liverpool to score in the Bayern goal but it was not used well.
and Leg 2 Liverpool will meet at Bayern later, in my opinion it is very difficult to win a match that will determine to enter the top 8 and the bayern will play well at home.

Who would have thought that both match will end with 0 - 0. It was a boring day for Champions League. In the Liverpool vs Bayern match Mane missed too many easy chances. I hope Liverpool don't do the same in Premier League match against Man Utd.

Well, i hope we will not get the same result for today matches. Atletico Madrid vs Juventus, both have same odds and this match play at ATM home. I guess it will be a hard game for Juventus even with Ronaldo, let's see how long Juventus can run in champions league.

So, Atletico vs Juventus. I'm looking at my bookie and Atletico to win is @2.80, while Juventus is @2.75, another site has @2.90 for both teams, so it seems like there's no clear favorite tonight, maybe we'll see a boring draw.

Also, we have an Europa League match today: Sevilla vs Lazio. The spaniards dominated the first game, Lazio were lucky not to concede more than 1 goal. I don't see this game going any different, I think Sevilla are the main favorites to advance to the next stage.

Bayern defended well but they will need to attack at home & that will play into our hands. If we score an away goal then Bayern will beed to score two.

I’m confident we will progress to the last 8.

I feel the same for Lyon, they have the advantage now.  

You never know. What if Lyon score first in Camp Nou & defend deep with numbers. Imagine the 1/4 final with no Barcelona

But yeah you never know. Here is my prediction :Lyon will score 2 goals in the first 20 minutes, Barca will spend the rest of the game trying to come back and it will end up in a 2-2 draw and Lyon advancing.

Hmm, I do not see any fun here. If this continues the LFC is going to lose their next match with Bayern Munich. This would not be a good by any means.

Sure the last both games ended on a disappointing note as they both ended goalless but it wasn't that boring to watch if you ask me. I enjoyed Lyon vs barca most especially and as for tonight game I see a narrow win for juventus, scoreline A.madrid 1 - 2 Juventus with CR7 scoring 1 or assisting 1.

It wasn't boring, Matches were such amount (24) of goal attempts get recorded usually should end with at least 3 goals, If you consider how clinical both teams can be in front of goal, It was more of a surprise.

I'm not sure I'd expect Juventus vs Atletico Madrid to be a high scoring fixture, I'd gladly grab an under 1.5 in the first half If should place a bet on the fixture. My prediction would be 1 nil win in favor of Juventus.

Clean sheet at home is indeed an advantage but not scoring any goals is also a disadvantage. The 2nd leg will be an away match for your team, logically Bayern is having more advantage as they will play at home in front of their fanatic fans. Looking at the stats of the first leg, Bayern was a bit dominating the game by having higher ball possession so I think they will be more dominating the game on the 2nd leg.

Thoughts on Schalke doing an upset? City have the personnel but they don't have the pedigree... Neither do Schalke of course.

What a comeback from Man Cty in the last 5 mins. 2 goals in the last 5 mins by Stirling and Sane to take the lead 2-3. Even though they were down to 10 men after 68th min with Otamendi getting a 2nd yellow and out of the match. You should never sleep on Man City or they will burn you with their pacy wingers. Atletico Madrid also come out with a 2-0 win and will make the 2nd tie interesting to see if Juve can answer it at home.

Wow, what a gameday in Champions league!
Schalke 2:3  Man City. First goal of Silva was terrible mistake of Schalke. Then Schalke scored two penalties. In second half Schalke played without ball, City just dominated, despite that Otamendi got red card. Then we saw amazing free kick goal by Sane and goal by Sterling in last minutes.
Atletico 2:0 Juventus. Solid win by Atleti. Maybe Juve had ball posession, but Atletico was more dangerous. Referee decision to disallow Morata goal was questionable but probably right. Goals scored by Atletico was very typical for this team - after corner or free kick. Juve now in complicated situation. Maybe they have CR7 which is big factor, but win by 2 goals against such defensive team like Atletico is very difficult task. P.S. Costa today reminded him why I hate him - what a ugly dive.

That was a good prediction on the first half alone for the Juventus match.
They couldnt even score a goal and ended in a 2 to nil game for the host Atletico madrid.
The manchester city match had alot of goals and with a shock for some to see it end 3 - 2 when they were down 2 -1 at half time.
I thought they were either going to lose or draw this game as I watching the odds for machester city when they scored their second goal to tie it. Their odds to win were 5.50x with only 4 minutes left in regulation.
It was the most exciting match today as the other ones were 2 goals each.

I saw the odds at I think 61+ around 83 minutes and I got tempted really, I just found it illogical due to the fact that they were a man down, I was expecting them to try to close out the match without conceding any goal more, I'd confidently say Man City are through to the quarter finals already, and this could be their year, Archive this post!!!

Yeah right, I had expected a fixture shy of goals, and both goals had to come with around 13 minutes left on the clock, Now I'm looking forward to the 2nd leg of this fixture, I want to see how Juventus will try to overcome this.

Today's match was lovely cause all the team I chooses won although my goal prediction was just a goal different but I'm suprised with Manchester city performance this evening despite the fact that Otamendi was out of the match they still play pretty good and use well chances by scoring two goals acouple of minutes before the end of the match.

Exactly my view, Juventus are not a high scoring team and, Atletico Madrid are not a high conceding team, I highly doubt there will be a comeback in which Juventus will qualify, but anything can still happen in the 2nd leg at the Turin, and Ronaldo's tie winning mentality will duly be needed if that's ever going to be the case.

Atm successfully defeated Juventus 2-0 in the second round although the dominant Juventus always attacked with 62% in the second half but could not produce goals and there were only a lot of opportunities for Juventus and in my opinion the first half Juventus also played very well and excelled at 57% and Atm 43%, and last night's match in my opinion is very interesting and I estimate that Juventus can beat Atm in the second round with a thin score and finally vice versa.
in my opinion Ronaldo is much better at playing with the Real Madrid team, and it seems that Ronaldo's name was not too popular anymore when he joined Juventus.
