I've read the articles on cryptocurrencies and got really interested in that.  No boundaries and dependence on location. same possibilitues for everybody.
This because cryptocurrency is still considered as new but if it will be consistent in implementing or adaptation to its users or the community then in the near future cryptocurrency will definitely be an option for payment methods and not only that because there could be more way cryptocurrency will be used.

Just wait for it but I don't think it is going to get much progress in 2019 as a payment system since the prices fell too much so firstly the prices need to recover and then it convinces people to invest more and then it maybe considered as a payment system looks like a longer process for me.

If crytpo actively used as payment system the price actually doesn't matter. Say, you are selling t-shirts for BTC, and the price of 1 t-shirt is equivalent to $20. It would be 0.005 BTC per item, if BTC was $4k, or it would be 0.0005 BTC per item if BTC was $40k. The only thing that matters is stability because no one wants ending up with 20% less of the profit if Bitcoin drops 20% before they can exchange it for fiat

That's a flawed logic if you ask me

Basically, you are assuming two mutually exclusive conditions, i.e. Bitcoin being a full-fledged currency and Bitcoin not being a full-fledged currency. If we assume the former (which you start off with), then you don't need to exchange bitcoins for fiat as that would imply Bitcoin failing as a currency in its own right, i.e. it being only an inferior proxy or substitute for some other currency, say, the US dollar. If Bitcoin becomes a real "all-inclusive" currency, there won't be a need to exchange it for anything other than goods and services

Is there a way to cancel transactions and withdraw the funds?
Unfortunately, not Which is why be extra attentive when generating any type of a transcation on Blockchain.
This is one the reason crypto is not that popular. Lots of people use it for bad reasons
and, say, the forgers use it as well.
It is about user that how he wants to use it and how he moves with bitcoin or any other crypto currency, before investing in crypto currency it is very important to know how can we use it and how can we get profit from it, try to buy low but then hold, using it not good according to me but if somebody want to use it is really reliable way to buy anything.

What about such shops in Russia?
I think some businesses in Russian have started accepting Bitcoin and they have even claimed it to be legal.

Earlier this year it was recorded that Russian farm cooperative Lavkalavka started collecting Bitcoin as payment  for the goods in their shops, cafes and even in the market at Moscow region of Khimki and i am also aware that this is applicable to their online stores.

They said it’s an opportunity they want to give to everyone to purchase with Bitcoin.  Also heard some Restaurants are now accepting Bitcoin as payment in Russian headquarters

Crypto as currency in merchant must be need government regulation and so far, many country ban bitcoin if used for payment in merchant. Need more time for crypto to be regulated by government and i think it will happen in next several years.

no later than 2021 cryptocurrency will accept as digital currency in several countries.much of government now consider cryptocurrency as source income if they regulate it.and ofcourse if they doing it they will also allow the crypto usage as currency.

I got scared even..
This problem is very serious one. No to be involved and be a victim of the sceme follow the next steps:
Check all  websites and services on which you will make a purchase / exchange to BTC;
Do not make transactions directly with suspicious people there;
Do not download suspicious software either;
Ignore the promises of any fortune to be made in 5 minute time

fingers crossed we're in a safe place now

This year is not yet too early, for payment of a cryptocurrency, perhaps someone will accept as a payment method, very few people use a cryptocurrency, you need more time for such payment methods.

No need to wait for that year because as of now crypocurrency is already being used as a form of currency  not only today but also on the previous years of crypto it is already being use by many users to purchase or pay for services online .  government didn also consider crypto as a source of income but the people are  .  government itself is already rich , he doesnt need a crypto anymore to earn .

Payment for using Crypto in my opinion is very good and worthy of being applied by many merchants, very simple and not through third parties, aka peer to peer.
Only the level of public understanding of crypto money must be educated and there are pilot projects so that when applied it does not experience many problems.
Most importantly the state must legalize bitcoin, because bitcoin cannot be used for payments as long as it is illegal. The public is afraid of doing activities that are considered illegal by the state.

Hi guys.
I'm wondering what's your opinion on the goods purchased in currencies other than euros or dollars, say crypto. I'm aware it's being used as a regular currency in various fields now. There are, for instance, lots of successfully run marketplaces based on crypto out there.
Over the past year, the market capitalization within crypto soared to the Moon.  Unfortunately, it's been a bear trend for a while now and no one can say for sure when it's gone. However, I am still thinking there's some light at the end of the tunnel - new market, pretty few competitors, great potential. So it's high time to become an active user.

So that begs the questions: Your thoughts on crypto as a payment method? Any progress achieved in the upcoming year?

No doubt, crypto currency has changed our way of payment method, and it is too much easy and cheap for every users of crypto. It will be damage of fiat currency because people are happy with crypto currency and they are avoiding to transfer money with fiat. That's why banks are not happy with crypto. But it is other topic. But still it is worthy method and i rely in future definitely it will get more achievement of progress.

It`s not changed yet, it`s a process that will take some time. Every merchant needs to work under the law of the country where he works, some countries doesnt have laws about crypto yet, merchant is free to accept crypto for his goods, if he wants that. Banks are not happy with crypto, that`s true, crypto is taking a piece of cake from them. Now people don`t need to spend money on high transaction fees, they can simply use crypto. We are living in the times of changes, they are even close to an end. I believe that in the end entire world will use crypto, so calculate alone where are we now and where we are going.

I think the cryptto currency fee cannot be said to be cheap. especially for now. but I think with the increasing technological development, cryptocurrency will be the solution for payment instruments later

Is there a way to cancel transactions and withdraw the funds?
Crypto transactions are irreversible, once you have sent them you can't reverse it or retrieve it unless the receiver will send it back to you. Some transactions on the Ethereum network are failing and it's about an issue through contract addresses so that's the chance that your transaction can be canceled. Bitcoin isn't like PayPal that you can reverse transactions and asks PayPal's management to cancel any transaction that you have done.

I think that's a big step to success. A new generation platform that will be available to anyone. must be a success for both buyers and sellers I think.

Yes, I agree. I reckon there will be more sellers on the market, the currency will be quite helpful to quite a few. Same goes with the buyers that would buy goods on regular marketplaces.

Maybe, the partnership with Augmint will has a great influence on this in the near future. More options, more items.
Look at the thread, lots of us are waiting for it. I mean if there are more options there are more customers.
