Even though we are already in the year of 2019, we should not still expect that the cryptocurrencies will become a payment method for goods for the mainstream stores either online or offline. It will still take a long time before the people will start trusting these cryptocurrencies since people are not used to trust a full time type of currency.
indeed to go towards it still requires a lot of time. but my hope is that this year there will be a lot of positive news for bitcoin coming from the government. for example, enter the stock exchange. so that there will be many investors who bring their money to cryptocurrency, so that it can make the up trend. and hopefully this will continue

I think that it is not only a matter of trust in cryptocurrencies, but also the convenience of using them as a method of payment for goods and services.
For many people who are not familiar with cryptocurrency, it will be difficult to pay it.

Agree with andriarto. People are sceptical, nobody wants to lose their money because of the rate fluctuations. When the marketplaces more or less stable, regular ones will start adding crypto as a payment method. There's no use in speaking of such a thing. Too early.

The picture is not so unsettling. Don't you forget about ModulTrade. They sell their products for crypto and give an opportunity to take/pay loans without interest. People won't miss the chance.

Everything will change for better and it will favor the acceptance of cryptocurrency.
What i am seeing now, BCH will be the best crypto in acceptance with merchants all over the world.
And they are the one who moves fast than any others.

The biggest factor in making Bitcoin mainstream at this point is single-handedly getting it into the payment processing of online and retail stores but specifically online for the meantime. Once it is easy to use online and many people have Bitcoin debit and credit cards then we will see a mass shift from Fiat to cryptocurrency.

Using Cryptocurrency as a form of payment is a goal that everyone expects it to achieve. Due to many objections and obstacles from governments, many developers do not accept Crypto as official payment currency. But there are still many traders who use it as a currency to make transactions with each other. Many ICO projects use this idea to attract investors, but almost all projects fail.

You are right, but we are speaking about classical marketplaces that don't want to add crypto as a payment method so far. It's just because constant rate fluctuations. The fact there's such platforms as MT and other crypto based online stores is great. But that's not enough to improve the situation significantly.

To me ICOs are not that popular anymore, we've got exchanges and e-commerce to get ico implemented

As long as crypto keep restraining krypto from becoming another approved payment method, we won't see any changes.

Investing in ICO is a big failure in 2018, not many people like it anymore. You are correct, Crypto is definitely a useful payment method, it will become more and more popular if it is not restricted by the governments of many countries.

Guys, it's been awhile since cryptomarket appeared but not that long to make such conclusions. The evolution of crypto is going allright and we shouldn't expect quick results. The time when crypto will be officially accepted as a payment method willl definitely come but it won't be that soon. We need to understand it and be patient.

I am still thinking about these marketplaces: the ratings of the sellers are real or not at all. Maybe the bots are used or something like that. Any thoughts?

I think we are far away from using Bitcoins instead of dollars or euros. For old people cryptocurrency sounds really weird. They aren't ready for this. A lot of old people still can't accept credit card xD

Man, have you fallen from the moon?)) Of course they can use some type of softaware, I'll tell you more, some of the reviews are not real reviews, but it's made just to attract people. Well, damn it it's done everywhere also in ordinary online stores.

As long as crypto keep restraining krypto from becoming another approved payment method, we won't see any changes.

If we have more and more government approving it and making it legal we will see that many others would start accepting it as a payment mode for their good and services . It is more depended for having a broader framework for accepting it as a payment option.

A strange question about the reviews .. I never check reviews, I mean at all. The marketers write so skillfully that you can tell the difference and tell who is who lol. I just listen to the opinions of friends, relatives, or try at my own risk.

Well, real people do use such platforms, say, Modul. I'm sure about that because I took something there myself and personally gave an assessment to the seller on their website. Now as for cheaters. Cheating may be possible as well as reviews, but there is no way out of it - marketing is everywhere. You just need to turn on your head and evaluate the purchase. imo

Crypto payments are like dreams but as the technology is difficult to implement for nontech guys they are struggling for it. but sooner or later they will also implement the ideas and payment methods in their sites. as for now, more and more people are integrating it. imagine how will it be when you can pay for your beer with crytocoins. I have high expectations in 2020 and less in 2019. as technology is still in development this year. Progress seems fine to me.

Even though we are already in the year of 2019, we should not still expect that the cryptocurrencies will become a payment method for goods for the mainstream stores either online or offline. It will still take a long time before the people will start trusting these cryptocurrencies since people are not used to trust a full time type of currency.
I agree with your opinion. However, problems with the use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment are actually much more than it seems at first glance. Cryptocurrency should not only be legalized by the state, there should be clear instructions to the relevant government agencies, including tax authorities, on how to apply it to business structures in practice. A serious and practically unsolvable obstacle for business structures is the high price volatility of cryptocurrency. I know that many who first accepted cryptocurrency as a means of payment, then refused to use it for this reason. In addition, the practical application of cryptocurrency from a technical point of view is still very difficult for the average person.
