KYC is really needed for me for the bounty hunters because to avoid the cheater of hunters. But In the some investor who wants to hide in their indentity because they really want to security and that is normal. They have good and bad effects of the implementing KYC but in bounty campaign it should be really effective and good.
So many ICO did KYC but there are nowhere to be found now and you left wondering now what happen to my sensitive information, where it will go and who owns it now, one day you will find your information sold in companies and unscrupulous individuals for their illegal activity, that is in exchange for $100 worth of bounty.

Yes i totally agree with you , Some times you can Do KYC without receiving rewards , Bounty hunter are not costumer we are just promoters even if KYC is involve they must let the hunter know from the beginning but they i will hide it until the campaign is over .. Infact is very risky revealing your identity to someone you dont fully trust so they must put bounty hunters aside when its come to KYC..

What is KYC? It means knowing your customer. In KYC some requirements are required such as: Full Name, Residence address, Citizenship, Birth date, Photo of government issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID card), Social Security number or Tax Identification, Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Photo of bank card .
I honestly think kyc should be stopped for bounty hunters, reason being that we are not buying the token of the project ,rather we are rendering services to create awareness for the project. Which ought to be paid for.
In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.
I did a bounty which i passed, and earned some amount of the token, but i failed kyc and my effort was gone just like that, after rendering my services to them by promoting the project. I got really pained.
This is just an example of what is happening.
What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
Firstly, I also dont support the act of bounty hunters going through KYC because KYC was implemented into crypto sphere by the US SEC as an act to fish out and stop the laundering activities, terrorist financing and theft. Therefore, there's no target reason behind the bounty hunters through KYC since they only work for the project not investors.

I'm not against KYC in absolute but I don't like when KYC is performed by the same company because if it reveals a scam someone will have my data... I prefer doing KYC with third part apps like CIVIC for example...

Yes, I think that KYC is ok, but the requrements should be announced before the registration to the bounty campaign AND! It should being done in zero knoledge manner with blockchain solutions. I suppose there should be some serious regulated projects which will provide such kind of service in future. Current solutions like CIVIC are not legit enough IMO.

Ico that done kyc are still there actively developing their plans for their project . others that dissapear are scams . some arent scam but have failed or postponed . wondering now what happen to my sensitive information, where it will go and who owns it now Do you also wonder that when you sign up on other sites such as facebook ? You also provide personal infos . your infos are safe as long as the company is legit . it wont go nowhere , they will only store it in thier data base for further verification is ever you have some issues related to your account.

Yes, I am agreed to you, they bounty hunters is not the investors in the project, they is the promoter and working for the project, they earn their coin is not investing in it, so why they need to pass the KYC? It nonsense or the scammer want to their personal data and sell it.

I hope that doesn't happen. Why do they ask us to have a bounty hunter to do the Kyc? I think it's part of their procedure to record who the asset holders are. there is nothing wrong with bounty hunter kyc, this is actually good I think for the continuation of the bounty in the future.

I agree with you. I have this project that takes a long time before distributing token then suddenly they require KYC process. It is really hard since you have to pay for whitelisting. After a hardwork I think we do not deserve it.

I totally agree with you.KYC should not be applied to the participants of the bounty. This procedure does not help to get rid of hackers, many people send false documents. It is especially insulting when KYC is reported at the end of the bounty.

I also agree with this idea, KYC should only be for ICO investors. Bounty hunter should not because it is not really necessary, KYC only makes things more troublesome and cannot solve any problems in bounty. Also, I don't want to sell my information for free, there are many bounties requesting KYC but their tokens are not valid in this market

KYC or KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER should be stop not just with bounty hunters but even with investors. It is not good for the side of people. this will only benefit on the ICO team and nothing more. THere are so many issues about selling KYC documents in black market and that is dangerous.

If there is another way to know the cheaters or scammers in Bounty Campaign then I will go for it over KYC. I think this is the first reason why the project team requires their participants to undergo KYC. To avoid multiple account users and those who are doing something they don't follow their rules.

I totally agree on this, as Cryptocurrency are created and meant to be unknown. KYC is being abused by the ICO team. Some bounty campaigns are not good too and not being responsible for it. in addition, there are so many payments now that are being delayed for so long.

i agree with you, kyc at the end of bounty should be stopped. if KYC was really required for bounty participant it should be performed at the start of bounty because it wouldn't fair to hunter when they already promoted the project for a few month got and in the end of bounty participant who didn't pass KYC or miss the chance got no reward for the job they already performed for the project.

I don't think you need to get rid of it. but we have to protest for the project that tells KYC when ico is finished. I don't mind Kyc for a bounty hunter, what I don't like is when the kyc is announced when it's all over. This is what we have to finish, right? for some reason we are pretty good.

I think its better for the bounty manager to outrightly declare to all bounty hunters to pass KYC first before participating in the campaign this will enable hunters without the necessary document to seek alternative campaign, although KYC is use to screen cheaters, you should have pass the KYC first before promoting their ICO its quite painful after putting in all your efforts and the end no reward because of a flimsy excuse by the manager.

I agree with your sentiments regarding kyc. Those private information that we disclose by completing the kyc procedure is very dangerous as well because it can be use by unscrupulous people to create an account using all our informations and they could misrepresent us with any project.

Actually I will disagree with your opinion since its for good reason and also benefits for Bounty Hunters because it also helps to reduce amount of cheating in Bounty so you will earn more tokens. If you don't want to do kyc then don't do bounties which ask kyc.

basically I really don't really agree with KYC enforcement for bounty hunters. we get tokens with small amounts and sometimes at very cheap prices. it is not comparable to the important documents that we submit to the team
