I cannot say that all altcoins are legit and good for investment. Many investors are being scammed by fake projects, according to reports. So traders, investors and bounty hunters should stay alert before investing in altcoins. They must conduct researches, view whitepaper, project team and technology beforehand.

Whoever says all altcoins are legit is seriously dreaming and living in fantasy land or probably the person is new to cryptocurrency and does not know much yet now that most altcoins that we now have are just there to take money and close down the project, and this season where we no longer see much of big investors willing to consider any altcoin to invest in, and you see that majority of the altcoins that are doing quite ok still are the ones that is like within the top 50 coins.

I think new altcoins will no longer get the chance to enter the market that much except the ones that has to go through IEO platform, those ones are still under the hype of IEO which has really been working for them for a long time now, and to invest in IEO is not that easy for common man.

Few days back i thought a coin called JINBI they gaining fund  for there coin, after funding they vanish.

talk about altcoin, you can choose the TOP 100 coin at coinmarketcap buddy
for example ethereum, eos, litecoin and BNB
for me thus altcoin above is better than the other

i think the rise in scams is largely due to poor judgement and decision on investor part. We have to do our own DD and look out for important indicators such as assured exchange listing (announcement from the exchange itself), working MVP, elite team and existing community. A project like kozjin in my opinion, ticks all these boxes.

Easily create a new project that can be done by anyone just spending a lot of money they can make money with fraud.

The solution is to have an institution that verifies the project that has a permit and not so that not everyone can be careless in investing. we don't want more people to get caught up in fraud and get big losses. in this case each country is responsible for auditing every project

the policy is only owned by each country where the project is run. like America and Korea have also made policies and regulations for making a new altcoin or ico project. It is important to have government control, but it will not make the risk of fraud from the new altcoin reduced.

yeah you are right. there are too many anek projects for this year. i have experience about coin tele or miracletele where i was one of those who tried sim sime products and it was very smoothly used in my country. i thought miracletele would be great but i was wrong , 2 days ago sata got an email that the CEO had left the group and team channels going on vacation. This is ridiculous

I have participated in a bounty miracle tele program that is very good and I see the price is fantastic every day in exchange in etherdelta but true to your words dev and the team fled leaving the group maybe this is the beginning of the ugliness of the project that is already running which causes the project to be quiet because a lot of investors' money scams

There are many new alts currently in the market, not every of them is a scam though. You've got to make your research to ensure you're buying a project which has a useful base already. Projects  vechain, ledu, eos, you can buy these coins in the dip, but make sure you do your research first.

Vechain ledu and EOS? I maybe can argue very hard for EOS based on all the Dapp activity, but anyone can see that this cycle of heavy dapp activity was already repeated by ETH and then TRON. Remember those cryptokitty days? Same as EOS now full of gaming and gambling dapps. That is not a useful base that can be sustainable.

New projects appear dozens every day. Of course, among them enough and those whose developers pursue only one idea of easy money. This is a young market and at the moment the possibility of fraudsters unfortunately very large.

I can't blame people who are hard to trust altcoins now, especially with what the community has seen last 2017 with scam ICO projects. That's why you have to be skilled in seeing which project is legitimate or not by checking if they're hitting their roadmap and signed/sealed partnership with multiple blockchain companies and not just verbal nods. You can still definitely trust altcoins but you need to be very patient in doing your own background research with the team behind the project you're gonna invest on.

Price is just moving in sideways after all these months but sustaining that value in spite on a bear market of this year is pretty impressive.

why bitcoin SV ? as i knew a lot of exchange remove this fork of bitcoin mate
NPXS is an alts with huge supply and i never interested with a kind of coins with huge supply buddy

Altcoins are still very trustable, but I can't blame the community to see some altcoins have such a bad image because of the 2017 scams. One way to know if they're truly legit is if they have an existing company behind or launched it. One of Korea's major telecom have now started to use crypto/blockchain to solve nasty issues that we're getting from our local carriers such as high fees and data issues. They really can't mess up if they have such a huge brand behind them running.

But it's definitely recommended to not go all in on altcoins, better have 1/4 of your portfolio to be allocated for that and the others should be on major coins like btc, eth.

second i always do my research before investing,,
and for now i only invest on bitcoin and few altcoin such as ethereum, litecoin, eos and binance coin,

it is getting harder and harder to identify which new crypto is legit. Moreover, almost no new altcoin shows good results after the token sale, thats why I prefer to hold my funds in BTC at the moment.
