Yes he said he bought an member account for $50 but he said that he did this to test how campaigns are allowing altaccounts to participate.

I am not sure he deserves red tag for that testing,but anyway here is an archieve of that thread.

Tagged, bought account and announce it publicly is really shady activity. Indirectly he have encourage account by although he wrote on post do not buy account. But people's will encourage to obviously if he isn't punished. We need discourage people's from buy sell account. Account buy and merit buy is equal in my opinion and both is shady activity. So I think he deserve tag.

You're punishing someone for speaking out. Shady deals aren't announced like this. This user is nothing like the typical spammer who buys accounts.

S/he has a good intention in doing the experiment to share how cheaters abuse bounty campaigns. I just think s/he should rephrase his sentence, he said:

Do not buy accounts from the sources that I mentioned, because it is illegal.

Does it mean buying from other sources is okay? Readers might think of it that way.

Maybe something like "Do not buy accounts. Froum rule no.18 account sales are discouraged."

Edit: Upon thingking more, I thought that he should mention the account he used and be tagged saying that it was bought and used for experiement purpose only. If the account remain unknown, he might continue using it for bounty campaigns. Other members have a point.

You know what's funny, another user might buy an account in future and start a thread saying it's an experiment and when he gets tagged he'll reference this thread saying but mosprognoz wasn't tagged.
When someone commits a crime be it an experiment, first time or for whatever reason he gets punished right? Therefore I believe mosprongnoz deserve to be punished.

Remember s_therapist self admitted he bought an account and still got punished. There are other ways he would had carried out that experiment like creating alt account.

Although that's a good thread he started but he has done sometime which is kinda frown at so deserve a punishment to prevent the scenario I described above from occuring,   Coolcryptovator leave a reference on your feedback.

Myself i'm shady because i tried to buy an account for a friend so he would be able to post images on his service thread since there were no copper membership at that time.


I really don't understand why he shouldn't get a red tagg and i got bombarded with red taggs.

Would i call it an experiment wouldn't i also get any taggs ?

Well, his intention was not to gain an advantage for himself to join bounties with his bought account, so I wouldn't tag him myself. I agree to the problem that other people will also declare their bought accounts as 'experiment' to remain untagged. A solution could be to tag only his bought account, but not the mosprognoz account. I don't think he had bad intentions.

For future reference all 'experiments' should be announced before the account is bought and the link to the bought account has to be provided after the 'experiment' is finished. Otherwise, both accounts will get tagged for account sales.

mosprognoz was well aware that account sales are discouraged and warned other members.

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

You must do more reading next time before posting anything, buying and selling is allowed but cheating a bounty/ signature campaign isn't. But usually account sellers and buyers here are automatically tagged as bought accounts are not to be really trusted here in the forum and most likely will be used in participating in bounty campaigns.

Agree, which is why I'm not going to tag the guy for this--he's not a "real" account buyer, although a big part of me wishes he didn't demonstrate to everyone how easy it is to make money from this sort of scheme and didn't give account sellers his money.  That second part only contributes to the account-dealing economy and encourages account farmers to keep at it.

Coolcryptovator has the right idea here, and I'm glad he's against account sales, but in my opinion he probably jumped the gun on this one.  And no, I'm not going to leave a counter-positive.

Not at all, my intention isn't to damage any account really. He had PM me, and I ask him to reply here with his statement. And he must be provide his bought account, then I will think tag should turn on neutral or not. But obviously I have to tag his bought account. I have noticed he had fight against scammers and I like it. So ask him to provide his bought account link. Otherwise may be I am not going to remove my tag.

They could have bought account and be very quiet about it. There is no reason to point everyone that they bought account, it is not like anyone here is going to make clear connection between them and bought account. I don't think this is anything else but for research.

Since most of DT members consider this was a experiment so I have changed my feedback's to neutral from negative. On the other hand seems mosprognoz actively fighting with scammers which is appreciated to me. @marlboroza, you might remove your positive feedback's as well.

you just had to read enough that you would realize that he was not intention to harm people, he was showing how bounty campaigns are being harmed because of participants who buy accounts



we have to be very careful when leaving negative feedback, always ask yourself:

- will the person have committed any infraction that offers danger to the members of the forum?
