Are altcoins useless?

I think more altcoins are useful and profit in a short and long time it all depends on us choosing the altcoin it's better to check in detail before buying an altcoin

Of course we don't need as many altcoins as there are on the market now. All these coins are created for only one purpose - to earn money and nothing more. I think that really useful and necessary coins at best will be about 100, but even this number can be unlikely.

There are coins that are more active than btc and eth so for me altcoins are not useless because they have their own way to provide good services to the investors and this is why most of the altcoins are in a good position. Its a useless altcoins if its a shitcoins.

As amatter of fact, there are hundreds of currencies that are more potential than LTC and ETH.
Most of the altcoins in the market are useless, but there are hundreds of money to make our future easier and we can not ignore them.

Indeed, most altcoins that doesn't have good community adoption wasn't having a price value and if traded at the market price was too cheap with smaller volume. There were selected alts with profitable price, but still struggling to compete due to market bearish period. Potentially, when market demand will again turned back to normal activity like the previous days we ween more pumps rather than dumps; those useless alts might have hope to gain much higher price value.

Well I think altcoinS are not useless, there are also good Altcoins out there with good potential and use case, because they don't come top on the list for coinmarketcap doesn't mean there are useless, also some of them when traded can give good result.

First not all altcoins are useless as there are good altcoins there in the market. Secondly, yes we need altcoins as each (that is, only those with good use case) have something to offer, and these are the ones we need in addition to Bitcoin to disrupt this current era.

Of course altcoins on the market too much, but many of them in recent years have grown into a noteworthy project, and some will soon be fighting for the top lines, the development does not stand still and such a struggle is useful

the current altcoin condition is certainly different from the altcoin condition. because many altcoins are currently experiencing scams. although many are scam but I still believe that the altcoin conditions are still good at the moment so I will still survive and believe that the altcoin will overcome this problem.

XRP, even Ethereum are altcoins too and i guess that there were no differences between ethereum and any other altcoin. there was a bunch of altcoins that created a proper developer and they are still continuing the development progress and that's all. A lot of people must do a lot of research before say something about that.

It only came into useless if it serve nothing to contribute in crypto space especially when it is just a duplicate for the other coins. Even a utility coins still can be into the subject of nothing helping into the community if it is not accepted in the other place. 
Now, I'm currently holding a numbers of altcoins but only those coins that I've seeing potentials in the future.

new altcoin now really useless.current projects really different with pass projects,most of developers team now has now qualification as cryptocurrency project developers.their background and skill are qualified.

If Bitcoin can pump again as it did in 2017. Of course, more coins will be useful and can compete well. The useless Altcoin certainly has difficulty finding investors. but you also have to help the development of Altcoin by continuing to invest.

I don't think it is complete if there are bitcoins but there are no altcoins, they are one scope and certainly very needed. altcoin is a second investment alternative because it is easy to access and also the price is relatively cheap. so I think that altcoin is still needed anyway and there will always be for those who are decent and truly able to survive in the market.

The thing is that the altcoin itself are not the useless but the 1000+ projects people are not buying the tokens because they don't know where they're going to use it.

I am agree, its depend on the project. Project like ethereum is useful because with smart contract, any bussiness can adopt blockchain technology and make bussiness more eficient. I think many altcoin beside ethereum useful and it will change bussiness face in the future

They will know if they will study what the coins can offer.

There is no reason on investing if you don't know what you are buying, at least you need that for the future.
Not all coins who have a good value now will remain its good value, sometimes it dump and only when you understand
the coins and you believe on them will make you hold longer.

For healthy competition we need several coins. We can not trade easily with just 4-5 major coins so I won't say altcoins are useless. Apart from top coins there are several other high potential coins that has good trading volume to trade. Technology improves by the time it happens only when new altcoins will be launch in the crypto market we never know which altcoin will be huge in coming months every coin has diff diff vision. Its not guaranteed that every altcoin will be useful so some altcoins will diminish as well.

If you have best of the altcoins then you do need to worry as this will help you to build a great value for your portfolio in coming months. So if you think it will have a great future than do hold it else many such coins will become worthless as well in coming months.
