All those that are presenting themself as a revolution in any kind of field they are in the end useless. There are few exceptions, just look at the top 5 coins in coinmarketcap

Close to and big, exactly, nearly of them are vain. The huge more than half of bunco projections. They just victimized their currency, which the propose does not always require, to bring assets. And instantly they suspend away in the marketplace defunct weighting.

Most of them sadly but if you are holding any altcoin that falls within the first 20 altcoins according to Coinmarketcap then it ain't useless. Cryptocurrencies like ETH, BNB, XRP, XLM, LTC, etc. are all good cryptocurrencies to be found in your portfolio. Most of the altcoins that are useless are the ICO cryptocurrencies that have been generated yet without any proper use case to regulate its price.
Not only does altcoin in the top 20, many other altcoin contribute to the popular crypto as it is today. I think every project goes in their direction, but it also helps crypto grow

Now days we have more than 1 000 altcoins on the market. The question is, are people really using them? Frankly speaking only bitcoin, ethereum and monero are used for P2P payments. All others are used mainly for speculation purposes. Is it worth buying altcoins now days? I guess no, because all of them excluding tether are following bitcoin price chart. I mean if bitcoin is going up or down, altcoins are doing same. (Tether is connected to US dollar rate and used mainly for arbitrage trading purposes) So do we really need altcoins? Regarding platforms, only ethereum is mainly used, and mostly for creating ERC tokens. All others, like waves, neo, etc are used very rarely. Monero is used mosly for shady deals because it is untraceable. (I doubt about that, because one dude who opened a shop on a dark web for selling drugs was cached by police last week. For communication he used 3 level protected VPN and was accepting payments only in monero) https://www.wired.com/story/monero-privacy/ You can read about dark web here. https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/dark-web-3593569/ days. The main question is: Do we really need altcoins? Or Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero are enough for crypto comunity this days? the mass of altcoins is really bad. it makes for outsiders an unmanageable picture and even if you read regularly news and the forum it is not possible to stay up to date. there are also a few beads but the majority is unfortunately a rivet No mate not so much are useless if you will spend more time in market you will find every coin is useful but it only takes time for the price to be higher, I think now is the best time to see in the market you will see some coins at low price but actually they are future makers like bitcoin, eth and Ripple are the coins which is has highest potential in the market.

Not every altcoin is useless. Even though many people use them just for speculation and making some profit from nothing
maybe most of the altcoins are currently considered useless because there is a decline in prices. people see altcoin as an advantage and nowadays many shitcoin are still in the market. it can be like that or it can because they don't have the product and team only promises but doesn't keep it. there may be many other reasons that make the altcoin even more useless

The fact is that any coin has its own distinctive functions.Based on this, any of them can be used for different needs.Perhaps some Altcoins are not used massively, but this until. Now, the main development of cryptocurrency is in progress. 1 or 2 cryptocurrencies will not be enough.

The role of altcoins is significant. Altcoins, as an alternative to Bitcoin cryptocurrency and an integral part of the crypto market, have useful properties for improving the decentralization process of cryptocurrencies.

Most altcoins are useless theres no arguing it.. but you can't say all alternative currencies are useless... theres usdt, eth, maker, stellar, and so many other useful alts out thers

Well if you are talking about cryptocurrency that was made only for airdrop and market manipulation then yes, however if you are talking about altcoins that has raised huge funds then no, those coin usyally have unique function to their own, its just minority of them that really gets the attention.

The candid fact is thatany projects sprout simply because of the money, no plans for the coins after token sale. Well, not all are in this category, some go far to develop their product. Let's take a look at pundi x, the real life POS device if adopted by malls will make sense right? Also VECHAIN is making way with IOT, recently I saw production of milk powered by VECHAIN.

for me altcoins are not useless now because altcoins are more valuable than bitcoin because of the very low price of bitcoin now very little is the likelihood you earn a great deal here.

I would say No, Altcoins are never useless. You guys will be shocked to know that due to altcoins, the price of the coins get affected. Due to the altcoins only the trading volume of BTC increases, for which the price rises. So i would say that altcoins are never useless

Of course, there are about 8,000 altcoins and one bitcoin on the market, which is why altcoins grow much more than bitcoins.

To my regret, most altcoins are really useless. And the worst thing is that they followed Bitcoin before. I mean, where the bitcoin went there and they followed it. Therefore, they grew up with him. But now everything is even worse. Bitcoin is growing and they aren't growing in price. This is very bad for the market.

I don't think that's true. maybe the altcoin price is sometimes so low, and continues to decline. but, altcoin will be useful when you need it. it's just that, people don't need that. so, only a few altcoins are really useful for us, and our needs. it all depends on someone's needs.
