In the past some coins has shown surprise upwards movement and ethereum been one of the popular coins has shown significant pump in 2017 and early 2018! Will ethereum get to $500 this year even if sec approved ETF?

It all depends on how long the Bitcoin winter will last. If this is really it being over, we could see the moon much sooner than anyone is predicting. We are either speeding up dramatically, or this is one hell of a fake out. ETH is semi-relative to the price of Bitcoin so if BTC moons so will ETH theoretically.

all depends on BTC, maybe this is what makes eth will be in a longer position. we can hope that this year BTC can return to high position and pump eth.

That's for sure, with just less than 1 month I think ETH has already increase at least 20% and if that will be consistent then for sure that $500
prediction will realize soon. Market is good now, it's not only ETH that is rising and that's good most are green especially BTC so the value will carry to the altcoins. I am seeing that people are now optimistic, it's the chance to buy at this rate as we might not gonna see it again, we hit the dip and time to rise.

500 $ for 1 ETH is really a pretty big number at the present time. I think it takes more time to recover to that price. ETH is really trying to revive its business after many investors lost confidence and sold ETH.
But every effort needs time and patience. it will reach $ 500 in 2020.

Ethereum prices in 2017 have experienced very high levels so it is not a difficult thing if in 2019 the price of Ethereum can reach that level. Well as of right now the market is probably having a correction. Btc and eth went down quite sleeply in a short time with btc again below 4.8k and eth 140usd. Just goes to show how the market can swing from positive to negative really quick. I don't think we should be thinking about 500 for usd just yet lol.

Market of bitcoin is completely distressing, expected the bull run to take the price reach $200 at least by now. Because it is predicted a $164 crossing will surely make the ethereum grow. A sudden drop in the value of about $400 has made the entire market get crashed. Maybe by the next bull run things might change.
