The number of scam ICO project are on the increase and is the main reason why so many people have lost trust in ICO investment and at the same time bounty hunters have lost interest in participating in bounty because at the end of the day is either you will not get you stake or you get it but has no market value.

Most of the projects are currently failing. And the main reason for the failure is the market's state of affairs. Many people who are generally invested, do not want to invest in fear. One fear is working in their mind that if suddenly the price decreases further. So ICO project going failed.

It is like ICOs became a source of scam projects. Because today most of the ICOs are in very bad status. It is a big issue to be enter the market, to reach softcp, to be listed, and to keep price.

Just like in the 90s in the dotcom era, many companies raised money through IPO, some failed and some are still floating till date. I think for the price of a token listed in the market after ico is not something the project has control of as it is largely dependent on the forces of demand and supply.

The success of ICO's are depending of the market demand cause that's the only way they could have that money to to have their final run. They have that huge supply but the problem is that no investors would like to invest with them it maybe due to their project capabilities. It sometimes investors never have a trust with ICO especially then it is not already a running project and due to scam existing problems cause them to be worried about.

No funds no project idea makes me sick and tired of ICO ,I never like the idea right from the beginning ,why? Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail,this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki,haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.

it does make us feel fed up with ICO.
i also experienced the same thing as you, i felt my work and time had been wasted. i almost went crazy because of that and thought about quitting.

but after i thought again, i should have to try harder. not all ICO are bad, some ICO that i follow provide me with little hope of continuing to trust ICO.

Too sad to be like that, wasting a lot of time, effort, expect something in return but turns into nothing.
A lot of members here experience same thing like you have (including me), it is really disappointing but we have nothing to do cause we can't force them especially when the team aren't visible in the forum.

that's right, indeed the IEO is now well-known and some ICO investors are turning to the IEO because it is more profitable.

many ICO projects fail, others are fraudulent projects and if the ICO manages to get the softcap the situation gets worse when the token enters the exchange. that's why the ICO is now almost gone, because investors prefer the IEO.

We don't know in fact / happened with many of projects was fall on start-up. Since they like open a private sale, that's suspicioness for me.
Tons of project seems like paused / dead.
So i don't really sure for IEO could be a guarantee for project willbe successfully .

Just because you interacted with bad ICOs it doesn't mean all ICOs are the same.

If you do a lot of research and take care of some key indicators (milestones, team, social media activity, references on other websites etc) I'm sure you'll find some great ICOs, too.

Totally agree, there are many projects that bootstrapped with barely any fundings. This upcoming waves of IEO from Binance and Bittrex is also another gimmick in getting the attention of the general public back into the crypto industry, but most people that been through the ICO wave have became wise.

maybe from sales can succeed, but for future project developments so that the market's interest is a doubt. where after being registered in the exchange later the price can grow or not. if it's not possible the coin will be discarded from the market.

Raising funds for a good cause through ICO is a good trend if the project is not a scammer. Envisaging an idea and going for it is a good idea. But the trend in the market is such that a fake project collects money through ICO and run away. I am not saying that all projects are fake. Some are really good which would make changes in the lives of the people around the world. And establishing such project through ICO is a good move.

ICO is change this days, ICO bow is not the ICO in the past where every investor really get x2, x3......x20 of their investment but what happened in the current situation it seems ICO is just burning money into ashes. So i must advice to forget ICO and do some little investment on altcoins. You can get 10% then sell

If you are fed up with ICO, it's better to invest in large coins. Now the market is in good condition and many coins are experiencing price increases. By trading short term, I think it can provide benefits. And for ICO I think this year will be better.

Please, do your research properly and try to say anything based on your data or fact that happened with the market and this is an old thread. Your point is not even seeing the latest situation that happened with the ico market. TOP gives 10x or even more, the result depends on your research

indeed the risk that we will receive if we invest in ICO, but what I see in the ICO is that there is a lot of greed in collecting funds from investors, even if we calculate enough $ 1 million and have been able to develop their projects, many they are so greedy that they don't feel the slightest takun if their coins die, because they already get a lot of money from investors.
