I am not sure why Yusuf Pathan did not come out to bat as he is a hard hitter and i am not sure what happened with Warner, is it because of good bowling or he was not timing the ball well, i did not watch the match but i was looking at the score board every now and then and looking at Warner in the crease i expected them to score above 170 runs, it looks like Kings XI Punjab will win this one with the way things are going at the moment.

Pathan just missed a catch of Mayank and consider it as the match gone. KXIP need only 34 runs from 25 balls. It's not a big target and I am not feeling today that there will be any drama.

Punjab should win easily unless they goof up the match and lose quick wickets which is the only way they could lose the match. Else it is an easy cakewalk for the Punjab to win and SRH might be just unhappy with the today's perfomance.

Initially i thought the chase was well calculated but then they missed out completely in the last few overs and Rashid Khan always bowl economically and that took the game to the very last over and 11 off the last over made things interesting and the match went down like a thriller after that, a couple of good balls could have changed the match upside down .

Kolkata vs Chennai, no doubt Chennai will win but I am still confuse just because of Andre Rusell. This man can do anything and he proved it for 3 or 4 times in this series, specially the last time. Maybe I will not bet today too, or it will depend on the odd.

They already have a good number of all rounders in their team:

Kedhar Jadhav: Good with the bat and ball
Ravindra Jadeja: Good with the bat and ball

There's no replacement of Bravo in Chennai, I think Chennai will suffer for him. Can Mitchell Santner be a good edition? I can't see a better option.

Don't you think it's an indirect pressure for him as a captain. What lacking in the RCB team is a good captaincy. A captain needs to know when to use which of his player. Dhoni is the best example. Give him an average team, he will make it an extra ordinary team.

To be honest I am not really surprised how Virat handles his RCB team in IPL. I have seen him choking or getting over excited on many occasion when playing Red Ball Cricket or White ball cricket. In shorter format he has Dhoni and Rohit, they keep him on the check regularly, I have mentioned this many times whenever I talk about Virat's captaincy.

I always feel that Batsman Virat overshadow Captain Kohli and his team in every format be it franchise cricket or International. Viart personally believes in giving his 100% when playing cricket and when he doesn't play cricket he's working hard on his fitness and cricketing skills. and he expects the same from his teammates but they are copying his beard style and Tattoo except for cricketing skills. When the team wins then every mistake hide behind the victory but when you are on losing end it looks pretty ugly.

I've gone with a narrow win for the Superkings today, but with Karthik playing in front of local fans he might lift his game and inspire some of the others from KKR to do so too. Both teams have a solid bowling lineup too, hoping to see an entertaining battle of the spinners out there (I've got a feeling Tahir is going to go big today!)  

These are the lines I'm going with for today's game:

- Krishnakumar Dinesh Karthik total: Over 17.5 (1.92)
- Team w/ top batter: Chennai Super Kings (1.91)
- Super kings top bowler: Tahir (2.98)

I've just checked and we've got some of the best odds and the lowest margins on the IPL today, plus the lowest minimum stakes for bitcoin betting!

I guess so too , as I type this Robin is out too . Very poor from experienced player , I still expect DK to stick and play innings . Anything under 140 will be very hard for KKR to defend against CSK.

I chose to bet on CSK too, but I feel they can win comfortably against KKR. KKR already lost 4 wickets and I am feeling confident that I made the right decision currently. Lets see what Russell does in this situation.

Not that much he can do because it's CSK, Dhoni is there. However, I didn't expect such match. Chahar is a charm. They just lost their 5th wickets, Kartik is gone. Cloudbet seems to be lost in huge bet today.

They have lost their 5th wicket for 44 in the first 10 overs itself. I feel the score would be below 100 but not 140 and if CSK don't lose their wickets, they can easily win the match. Their run rate is 5 so hoping for another 50-60 runs max which would make the score approx. 110 or less.

I will talk about his Red Ball captaincy mostly because I don't consider IPL's success-failure in the bigger picture due to various reasons. We already covered that In ODI, Dhoni got his back, we have seen many times when towards the inning Dhoni take charge of Field positions, and Virat covers Long On- Long Off.

Virat takes a risk in Red Ball cricket. There is a reason we saw a drastic change in Indian bowling line up. Before the Indian team mostly used to rely on Spinners but Kohli pushed his 4-5 fast bowlers strategy in Red Ball cricket, and we are getting the results. But on Batting strategy and Team selection, he failed miserably. Result; we lost against Proteas and English.

Now back to IPL. It's an entirely different set-up. Win and lose margin depends on many factors, captaincy is one of them but will point out only one which is very important and defines the team performance during the whole season.

Does Virat have any say during the IPL auction or not?

Bow to Andre Rusell. So far nicely played today too while all of the top and middle order batsman failed to score a good one. He is really playing incredible this series.
