This is true, you can only be at ease when you are the only one who knows and have the private keys to access your account.
The current way of accessing your account in a decentralized exchange is not safe as you need to put your private key, and this actually results to lots of complains before when some people got victim of phishing on a wrong etherdelta website IIRC.

Reputation of decentralized exchange now is not good IMO, but hopefully it will be revive with a new competition coming in the market like Binance DEX.

There is no exchange that are safe now but security can be improved.

True, the liquidity is low because it's not as convenient to us especially for day trading, and as I've mentioned, it's reputation is not good.

you must first select and create a procedure with which you can make leadership that will not adversely affect other projects.  In addition, you need to have a regulatory format that will not give the opportunity to abuse such functions.

Regulations will play a bigger role in taking back the confidence of new and old investors. Regulated ICO's and IEO's would make the investors assured that their investment will be safe. Investors have so much confidence and trust in IEO's like in Binance as they already made due diligence before accepting the projects.

Of course you do not need to give up , the crypto currency has turned around and now you should expect a big growth by the end of the year!

It is not only about the confidence in the markets but investors confidence index is down due to this reason. Big growth will not happen this year in my opinion and there is a small chance we can see the big recover this year.

yes investors will feel calm if the Scammer is no longer there and will likely fail only a few percent.
I think it's hard to get rid of scammers and maybe reduce them but if you eliminate them it's very difficult, because the cunning person is very clever in doing everything to cheat.
