I played about with Bitcoins and litecoins and Feathercoins back in 2013. These were the days when Bitcoin was pretty easy to obtain through online mining pools and faucets ect.  As time went by,  I lost interest in Crypto and kinda forgot about it until Bitcoin hit 19k in 2017 . By this time I had changed my computer and hard drives and along with it all my passwords and wallets and dat files,  to cut a long story short I searched all over for my old hardrives, ran recovery on one of the drives I had kept and found nothing I gave up searching and just got used to the fact that I had lost a lot of money.

Fast foward to 2019 we were cleaning out a cuboard and at the very back was a shoe box and in that shoebox were 3 hardrives one of which contained all my passwords, wallets and dat files for all my Bitcoins, Litecoin and Feathercoins. I may have lost out on when Bitcoin was at its best but I now have all the info I need. I have sold some of it and will hold the rest until Bitcoin goes up again and it will. The money I got from selling some of the bitcoin and litecoin even though not at its highest I basically got for doing nothing apart from online pool mining  and playing with faucets  back in 2013,  so im happy with it. Never give up if you have lost money on Cryptos and if you did what I did keep,  looking for that lost hardrive it will turn up eventully.  In 2019 it is so easy to buy and sell Bitcoions too and it was instant money from selling to transfering the moeny into paypal then into my bank account.  How things have changed for the better for cryotocoins

Congrats on the big hit, man. I left most of the hard drives when I moved out of London, so that's a few thousand bitcoins down the drain. Oh well; no use crying over spilt milk. Onward and upward!

I think I love this story which is not as unfortuante as we have heard similar situations where the hard drives could not anymore be found. I am happy that you eventually recovered what you had lost and though the price of Bitcoin is not the same as it was in 2017 still that is quite a big blessing and you have some to play with if you want to. This is better than those who decided to sell their Bitcoin when it hit $15 thinking that it was already big and afraid that one day it might fall back to just cents. The lesson here is that we should never give up and just pray that eventually things will be working out fine for all of us.

I congratulate you for finding your lost hardrives.
I had a similar experience but it's not Cryptocurrency related.
I had submitted application for a contract  awards in  one of the parastatals in my country in 2017.
It got awarded to another contractor and as Providence would have it , the contractor did a very bad jod and it was revoked and awarded to my company this week.
I was even the list qualified among other contenders.
I never gave up believing I will get it one day.

For sure the price of the bitcoin will increase again so don't worry for that to those peoplewho are worry right now. Don't give up noq because bitcoin will rise the value and 20k dollars will see again for the second time around.

There is no "SURE" things in this crypto world. We can expect the price will back to the moon again and probably break the ATH price record but we can assure people that it will happen. It can be something misleading once it is not happening as what you say. You can be blamed by any person if you say like that but the fact does not like what you said to them.

I have some coins who sold when the bitcoin is very low and when price of the bitcoin rise I feel happy and sad. Happy because we can earn money but sad because I lost the opportunity to become millionaire but Im still blessed to working to the bitcoin and looking for more decades to work to crypto.

What do you work for crypto? By the signature campaign? I can say that you are not working to crypto, you are working to advertise the project in the signature. I can even say that it is not a job, dont rely on it to earn money.

There are a lot of horror and good stories about those early adopters or at least into bitcoin in its early years like the OP. Shows us one thing:

Bitcoin is your safest bet. Coins like Monero and Litecoin did great too. I wouldn't go too far away from the top 20 coins and even when I do that I wouldn't invest more than %10.

Just keep accumulating your bits. You'll be happy in a year or two.

never  give up! the rest of your time is used very well, even though you give up halfway but you rise with luck. Your wallet will not be lost in the hands of others while hidden like a treasure and not subject to any tax every year, so crypto is highly favored for future investments.

I think you haven't read the whole statement of OP. He's lucky enough to find it on his shoebox and found all the info and files needed to recover his litecoins, bitcoins and feather coins.

This is a success story that's worth reading, I'm not going to ask on how much each of those coins you've got. It's already enough that there's one life that has changed and came back to crypto's. Good luck to all of us who have decided to hold on long.

Together with market price increase and thinking also how the demand slowly getting back to its where it should be then probably it is good to have bitcoin and use it. We had to encourage everybody now to get back in bitcoin and that its adapatability rate will be highly visible. I think this is way better now starting to get a good motivation to join again on  bitcoin investment.

I have seen most people who got in bitcoin during the bubble times like in 2013 have the same story where they gave up on bitcoin just because its price was going down and then come back a little later when the price was already shooting up. we already produced hundreds of them in 2017 as we set a new bubble and they have already lost hope and gone away to come back in a year from now to see $20k was a bargain just like $1200 is today

your interest in bitcoin should never be because of its price or only when it hits ATH prices! your interest in bitcoin must only be in its technology and what it offers otherwise you keep losing it and go back to corrupted fiat and in that process you keep losing money as you make bad decisions regarding the money you dump for bitcoin.

That was a great story for us and congratulations to you to found the lost hard drives. Never give up is very important things that we should do in many aspects and not just in crypto. But I realize that it was not easy for us to accept the reality if we lose the information about the wallet, private keys. But gladly, you can found all of them so you can come back to the crypt again.

So, here is a suggestion to you, you can use the bitcoin, litecoin, feathercoin to trade to increase the balance of each coin or you can hold for more until you see the good price to sell. I am sure that you will not miss the chance to sell all of the coins you have at the highest price.

I almost got totally wiped out of my crypto portfolio in 2018 and it really crippled me to the point I went almost to the edge, but I never gave up and although right now I am not out of the woods yet, I can still say I am relying on crypto for my bread and butter but want to start putting a little aside hopefully of what I earn from trading and other activities into Bitcoin as the sentiment towards 2020 will be quite bullish I think from now on, especially with Bitcoin halving next year and the block rewards going down for the miners. It's time to accumulate if we can. Moral of the story is, NEVER GIVE UP OR GIVE IN.

When you're looking for your hard drive but didn't found it, and eventually found it after years. The lesson here is that, you'll find it when you're not looking for it. Haha but you're still lucky since you were able to find it again although it's kinda late (better than never), for sure, it'll still help you. Just hold it. Never give up

Lucky for you to find those 3 hard drives. I think the title should be lost and found and not never giver up. Still luck has been into your side. Back in 2017 my PC had an electrical problem which started a fire damaging my hard drive. Never regain anything from the hard drive ive lost all my password, private keys. Now i wrote them all down and keep at a safe place just a second layer security in case it happen again.

You still have big luck even though you don't have time to sell bitcoins for $ 19k at that time, if you have a bitcoin from the past 2013 which costs under $ 1000, now you still have 3x luck, and the word surrender is not the solution to success but confidence strong ones will motivate the spirit of achieving dreams
