Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Does it necessary to do now? I think it's better to continue after the DeepSend. How much time it will take exactly? If DeepSend is postponed this time too, it will be awkward and I will be forced to doubt that we will never have DeepSend. |

I didn't see any update here and in the forum. I hope it comes to the ground soon before starting any further development. |
